We made a surprise for our son who loved his visit to the museum. The reptiles have enough space and it can be seen that those responsible have a lot of affection and love for their work. Important: call in advance to schedule your visit. GPS is required.
Beautiful place, with lots of information. I liked it because they have exclusive guides to explain the species, habits and other questions. At the end, you can still take photos with the snakes, and with lizards or other animals available, the other time I went, I took them with the Python, this time it was the Giboia. It was very worth it.
From Monday to Saturday it only works by appointment - minimum 5 people. (Price per staff I don't know - call to find out)
On Sunday it is open to the public. (No appointment needed).
Sunday price (07/02/2022):
R$ 20.00 Adults
R$ 10.00 students and teachers
Note 1: I thought there was little signage, people could improve this.
Note 2: there is a short section that gets very muddy when it rains, which can be a problem for small and heavy cars.
Before going, if it is raining or it has rained a lot during the week, it is recommended to call ahead to find out what the road is like.
An excellent place to take friends and family who are visiting Campina and surrounding cities. A wealth still little explored.
In short: IT IS VERY WORTH IT.
The place is incredible, the staff are super attentive and it's a great place for anyone who wants to discover and lose their fear of reptiles, the environmental education they provide there is incredible.
