Loved it! I haven't been here since I was a kid! I brought my kids here today and they loved it too! Ultimate nostalgia! New rides added since I was last came here. They have picnic areas (you can bring your own food). They also have spots to buy food (pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, cotton candy, snow cones). Online price $34. Food is not expensive either. We spent the whole day here. The water park was great also. Staff was friendly! I recommend this amusement park. Fun for the whole family!
Visited The Land of Make Believe for the first time today. A big hit for the 10 and under crowd (and their parents).
Save $$ and order the tickets online before arriving. Get there 30 minutes before they open for prime parking. We decided to enjoy the rides in the morning and then visit the water park in the afternoon. Bring your own food and drinks! They have food options, but there are plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your own cooler of food. Bring an even amount of people for the water rides. One adult and two smaller (8 and under) kids couldn't enjoy the water slides.
Get a waterproof fanny pack for your phone and essentials. The large lockers hold a lot of stuff, so be sure to bring $22 ($10 is the key deposit) to rent one.
Overall, the park is a tremendous value for all that there is to enjoy. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. We really loved our visit and will certainly return. Thank you!!!
My experience with Land of Make Believe was very fun with the family. The place is large and divided into a section for games and a section for water games. There is a children's theater. All this is included in the ticket. There are plenty of tables and chairs, there are ice cream parlors and restaurants. They provide you with lockers to put things in and they have three sizes but there is a charge. Accordingly the place is very clean and the water temperature was good. I advise when going to bring cash with you, because they don't have credit card payments. There is a cash machine outside, and you can also bring your own food and drinks if you want, and it is suitable for children and adults as well, and the place is open only during the summer period because the place is exposed, not closed
We saw this place on a sign during a road trip earlier this summer. My husband decided to look into it when we got home, and thought it sounded like a great place to take the kids. This off-the-beaten-path amusement park was amazing. It backs up against the woods, so it does not have the concrete jungle feel that most amusement parks do. The pricing was fantastic, the lines moved really quickly, and the rides were phenomenal. They allow coolers and picnic lunches, while the concessions they offer are priced very reasonably. Honestly, I live less than ten minutes away from a highly regarded kids theme park, but I would prefer to drive over an hour to visit this place any time.
We had a wonderful experience here. My son is 9 and he’s a thrill seeker so this park was not really geared for him but he told me he still loved it. He’s a roller coaster kid so there isn’t much of that at all here but the fun doesn’t stop. It’s super family friendly and affordable. They have picnic tables and you can bring your own coolers and food inside.
The food is so good and grilled nicely. Hot dogs are only $3.50 and cheeseburgers are $5.50. Cotton Candy, ice cream, etc… all super good and affordable. Cash only for ALL foods. I thought since the park takes discover cards that they’ll take it for the food but all food stands are cash only. To enter the park they take discover and at the Gift shop only.
We got to see Santa in Santa’s barn in August and it was so lovely. He even gave us cookie cutters. The kids were all so happy to ask him for presents.
The Waterpark is not huge but big enough for small children to enjoy. It’s about 1-2 feet of water with many many slides and sprinklers. There are no other pools but there is a lazy River. This was perfect for my family. Even though the water is very low, my baby got to enjoy it and my son enjoyed the slides and swimming. Overall it’s great for families who want to get out for the day and relax.
