This is my second time posting this because KA took it down. I worked at this location & my son had been going here with me. The director that was there when I started was so kind & awesome. However, not even a month into us being there I ran into a lot of problems with the teachers that were caring for my son. He is Autistic, he can sometimes be a little difficult to redirect. But there were a few teachers who treated him very unfairly. Ms. Raven yanked my son by his arm right in front of me within our first week of being there, because he wasn’t walking out of the classroom fast enough. I could hear her screaming at my son from down the hall (3 classrooms over) on more than one occasion. I sat down with the director & expressed my concerns immediately. They agreed to not have him in her room anymore but that only lasted for a couple weeks & then he was back in there. He had a hard time with diaper changes so they would give up on changing him completely instead of trying it a different way they’d just get mad, mark his diaper as “dry” & then change the next kids diaper. There were times I’d pick him up at 6:00 PM & his last diaper had been at noon. His teacher Ms. Alexis even put in his report one day that he “refused his diaper”, he was 3 YEARS OLD at the time. I was right across the hall & could have changed his diaper myself rather than him sit in his own urine. One day my co-teacher went into his room to check on him, his diaper had just been put in the report as dry but it was very full of pee. When she asked Ms. Frankie if he had a diaper she said “yeah, you can do that. You know how he can be a problem sometimes.” I had to go to the director several times about him not being cared for. After nothing was done about it, I took pictures of his diapers every day at pick up for 2 weeks. I emailed these photos to her along with a professional message, asking if we could sit down to talk soon. I was ignored for 2 days before I got to speak with her in person. Not only were his diapers not being changed but my son was treated like a burden & a bother every single day. He was singled out from the rest of his class because of his disability. Ms. Jenny made a comment about my son in which she complained “we all have to DEAL with him.” She favorited the nonverbal Autistic child in her class then proceeded to talk bad about my son to other teachers even though he wasn’t in her class. Towards the end of us being there, there were behavior reports sent home with him every. Single. Day. When I clearly had expressed to all the staff that he was disabled. They did not accommodate him or go out of their way to make him feel included or cared about. KA discriminated against my child & Ms. Dana even resorted to telling me he needed to go to a different school because they did not have any resources or PATIENCE to “deal” with him there. I am extremely disappointed & angry with the way my son & even myself were treated there. He was talked to in ways I think were extremely inappropriate to speak to a child, even sometimes right in front of me. They made my son hate going to school when he used to love it. He used to be so excited to see his friends when we first started. But eventually he realized too that he wasn’t being treated well & he was anxious & upset every time we pulled into the parking lot every morning. Not only was my son mistreated but there were a couple students being neglected by their parents that the school knew about & did not report. If you are planning on working here make sure you don’t bring your child with you because they treat employee’s children terribly especially if they aren’t “easy”. Kiddie Academy, Do better for disabled children. Care about all the children & not just the ones that are your favorites or that aren’t “difficult”.

after attending another daycare in the area & having a terrible experience in the preschool classroom, we didn’t think we’d send our kids to another daycare. Shannon made us feel very comfortable & welcome. Kim in the infant room did a wonderful job with our youngest & always thanked us for everything we were doing as parents. Sad to see her go but Madison did a wonderful job taking over the classroom. Marissa welcomed our oldest with open arms & helped her in the bathroom when needed (something the previous daycare told us they couldn’t do.) & she napped on the first day! Marissa is always doing such cute little activities with the kids. She makes learning fun! Our oldest no longer throws a tantrum going to daycare, she actually says she loves going to “school!” Our youngest is now moved up to the goldfish classroom & we absolutely love the teachers in that room! They are so patient & make the young ones feel independent. The curriculum really gets the kids ready for kindergarten, they’re actually learning in a structured environment (something the previous center lacked.) The communication at the office end is awesome, we are constantly getting updates about how our children’s day was. This daycare provides so many family opportunities during holidays & each month, they actually appreciate your family being at their center. They also bring in a lot of outside businesses that engage your children (karate & soccer just being a few.) If you’re thinking of sending your child to a daycare in the area this is the place to be! We couldn’t be happier! Thank you to everyone at KA, your hard work & love for the children doesn’t go unnoticed.

If i can give 0 star or even _ i will give it . Bad team and unprofessional. I called ashley and she promised me she will put my son’s name in the waiting list and he will start January . I asked her 3 time if she’s sure she was like yeah i guarantee you there’s nobody before you and he will start January . I scheduled a tour and before 2 hours they canceled it and then she asked me to reschedule next week, when I went they told me there is already people in the waiting list !! And we can’t promise you that he will start January ! I was really surprised and disappointed.

My son has been at Kiddie Academy for 3 years. He requires OT support. KA has been incredibly accommodating to him receiving this service and assisting with his sensory needs. The teachers all LOVE these kiddos and you can see it when you pick up and drop off your child. On my son's first day, the teacher gave him a big hug and all the kids came up to him saying, "Hi!" and sharing toys with him. These teachers not only teacher a curriculum that aligns with common core state standards (for all you educators out there!), but they also teach the social/emotional skills that many other facilities don't teach. Even during the 2020 shut down, these teachers provided parents with activities for the kiddos to do. Their app is great at communicating the food my son ate (or didn't eat), what the activities of the day are, fun photos of him playing, and diaper changes/potty breaks. I'm glad I chose KA and my son is happy to go everyday.

My husband and I both believe Kiddie Academy is one of the best daycare/preschool in the entire area!! Their curriculum and structured learning programs ensure our kids are not only playing, socializing and having fun, but learning in fun and creative ways as well!! We are always amazed at the ingenious projects our kids are doing every day to help reinforce whatever they are learning that day or week… A lot of them disguised as fun, while teaching our kids. The teachers and staff genuinely care about our children and our family, and treat them as if they were their own. We’ve always felt a part of the Kiddie Academy family and would recommend them to anyone who asks!
