Do not order product ship to home from this store! I ordered shoes, gave the guy my phone number, email and my change of address card so that he spelled my name right and got my address correct. This guy made my home address to ship to MOTOR VEHICLE!!!! WHAT?!?! Do you not know what a home address looks like on a address card!?!?! He never confirmed shipping information and it’s partly my fault as I should have asked but when you hand someone a card, you would think they would get it right when all you have to do is COPY IT! Luckily he got my email right so I found out where the shoes were going when the email came that they shipped and to where! These kids now a days can’t write in cursive nor know what a address card is?!?! Now because I changed my address immediately by calling journeys - it’s taking two weeks to get these shoes that should have taken five days because they went allllll the way back to the original place of shipment even though they were almost here yesterday!!!!! Never ever again will I order ship to Home unless it’s amazon.
I was not a huge fan of Journeys Apparel store located in the Annapolis Mall. I popped into the store because I noticed that they had the shoe I wanted to buy in their window. The model shoe was my size so I was going to pop it on and see how it looked. However, I was advised by an employee that I would need to wait for her to pull a box from the back for me to try on because I could not try on the model shoe. Okay, cool. Well, I was the only person in the store and there was four employees on the floor. Ten minutes later, someone asks me if I am being helped and I mention that a girl in the back is pulling my size. Ten more minutes pass and I'm told she is still looking for the shoe. As soon as I'm ready to walk out the store she comes around with the shoe.... Okay, ages later obviously. Benefit of the doubt I go to try it on and am told she can't give me both pairs of shoes to try on and then basically stands over the top of me like I'm going to run out the store with the shoe on. Then, I don't even have the ONE shoe laced up before she is in my business like "So you're not going to get them or are you?" Like back up, keep your shoes, and I'll go somewhere else. No one wants to feel like they went to a used car dealership with a pushy sales person to buy a pair of walking shoes.
Worst customer service ever! Not helpful at all. It’s Saturday (they are not very busy at all) and it was like pulling teeth to get the shoes I wanted to try on. Then I was told they don’t even know where the other shoe was. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! It’s Saturday 2/20/21 at 3:43!
Their employees were very attentive and provided great customer service. Prices are actually reasonable as well. The store manager also cared about the appearance of the store so random items werent strewn about.
