Hotel Hacienda Viga 20-20

My weekend stay was not what I expected from a hotel who has 4 stars. The electricity kept going out during our stay causing the ac unit to fail for twelve hours straight during the mid-summer heat, which also caused issue with their water system. The wifi connection was also another issue during my weekend stay. I would highly suggest finding a different hotel around town before taking a big risk and finding out there’s utility issues during your stay and a lack of response from the staff regarding proper hospitality.

The WiFi could use some work, speeds are awful for working or even social media, the shower-head (in our room) was uneven, the shower leaked from the bottom of the door. The scenery is nice and the pool and couches by the side are a nice touch. I think a little more attention to these details will bring a more enjoyable stay for the guests and an experience closer to that of a luxury hotel.

2 star hotel hoax. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. For the value, this hotel should be far, far less, but they are charging 4 star hotel prices. Filthy bed covers, toilet that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years, dirty floor, shower with massive leak and faucet that just sprays water directly at your chest. The owners seem to be treating this hotel like a drunk teenager party road hostel. There was music blasting until 4 in the morning directly below our room. When we asked the staff to enforce the hotel rules, they were completely incompetent. We barely slept for the 2 nights we stayed there. In conclusion, there are far better options in cuarto cienegas. At most this place should charge 700 pesos a night. Worst money we’ve ever spent.

The place is very nice, the pool area, the rooms; The view it has is very good. However, they do not have control over the other guests, it is good that they want to coexist, but during my stay, the guests had music at a high volume, it was already early in the morning and they did not allow them to rest comfortably. In addition, sometimes there was no one at the reception. Maybe they should put some indications about parties/convivialities at late hours.
