We interviewed several agents as we planned to make Frederick our home. What impressed us, that proved to be true, is Lori’s experience in the Frederick Market. She knows market conditions. She knows communities and features of them. She even guides to special restaurants, shopping, etc as we are new home owners to Frederick. As she showed us homes, we sense that she was assessing what features in homes appealed to us and in follow up listings focused on these qualities. We were aware that it was a seller’s market yet she guided us in such a way that our “offer” was most appealing. She was strategic in terms of the contract, when it was to be accepted since we were the first, and by her skill, the contact first to be received and accepted. She then guided home inspection, securing a credit for repairs, and then working with finance, home inspection, title company for a smooth and efficient day of settlement. Lori is a “bridge builder” - she worked with the seller, essentially who was working as their own agent, and us - to bring all parties for a happy, pleasant and mutually satisfactory conclusion to what can be a stressful, demanding event - home buying. Lori made recommendations for individuals and companies to assist with this purchase. She continues to be a resource if we need a vendor for something with the house. She is well grounded in this community and she is there for us as we plan our upcoming wedding. She voiced at the beginning that she hoped for us that we could be friends after the purchase was done, and we are delighted that this has happened! Lori is our friend who happens to be our realtor.
