Hiawassee Town Square

Very nice town square. They had music on the square. The local VFW sold inexpensive snacks and food. Small but nice open space. Parking is usually available up against the square, but street parking is also available. During night events, parking is available at local businesses as well. The view of the mountains around while listening to music is great! There is also a lending library in the square. Small, the size of a phone booth.

Really nice they have music at times it's nice to just take the kids and enjoy the sun and maybe have a picnic

Beautiful. Quaint. Music on Saturdays for the next several weeks and food by the VFW.

Attractive down town area, we just happened to show up for the beginning of the parade that was the kick off of the Ga. Mountain Fair. Lots of fun. Also visited the Veterans thrift shop. Nice people, and a lot of stuff you didn't know you needed. All for a good cause. Hiawassee is a nice place to visit and to possibly find yourself looking for property in the surrounding area.

Always has enjoyable events. Ground zero for fun in Hiawassee.
