Great Lakes Ace

This store is AWESOME, outstanding customer service. I can aways find what I need. The staff is amazingly helpful and informative. I visit this store several times during the week and couldn't be more impressed with the level of help and hometown friendliness. They sell and service Stihl brand power equipment and their product support is world-class. Keep up the great work Ace!

The most expensive hardware store in NKY - especially for Stihl equipment repair. The prices on hardware items are inflated - even the ACE brands are high - I'd love to hear what the average margin/item is in the store. But the Stihl repair pricing is pretty ridiculous IMO. First - I wasn't consulted on what the all-in cost would be before the work was done. Then, after the work had been completed I was quoted the price for parts - the all-in cost including labor was 3x the price I had been quoted. Just a TERRIBLE service experience. What a joy to find the actual price AT CHECHKOUT! There's inflation - and there's gouging. I feel like I just got gouged. I would recommend Crescent Springs Hardware instead - great service, work quality, and less expensive! Even with the drive you will save money!

Friendly and great customer. It's way better than the big box stores. Someone actually asked me if I needed help as I walked through the front doors!

Always had a good experience at this location! Only downsides is that it can take some time to find someone to mix paint if you need that, and the hours they're open can be kinda bizarre.

Went to get an adhesive, got the wrong one, returned it and got another. The manager was fast on the refund and kept the line moving. She was a sweetheart .
