Glass Doctor of Michigan City

Setup appointment to get windshield chips repaired before traveling it out town. They took the booking and confirmed the appointment four times across two days then waited till the day before the appointment to call me at the end of the day and say they won't work on my car because it's a Tesla. They said a new employee booked it but several different people called and confirmed. By waiting so long they made it impossible for me to get an appointment somewhere else before my trip. Would NOT recommended this company regardless of what vehicle you have. They could have taken responsibility for their mistake but like most people now adays, they chose to break their commitment. Bad business ethics...

Decent price for used glass, but that’s it. TERRIBLE customer service and work. Had my window broken while at a hotel in Michigan city so had to find a place that could replace the window with it raining the whole week while I was working. I work 7 days a week so I dropped my car off while they were closed, they repaired the window but left most of the glass still in my door the repair man was like ya I couldn’t get it out so you have glass in there and the window doesn’t go down all the way unfortunately. I’m like why would you install it without making sure all the glass is cleaned out of it along with the window not closing all the way because it’s hitting the glass. He’s like you could take it off again if you want. I’m like what’s the point of getting here and paying you guys if I’m gonna have to do it myself. I then called the office to speak to a manager about the issue and it was brushed off and they wouldn’t even give me a refund or discount. Would not recommend this place

Our dog jumped on a window in our home when he saw his arch enemy walking by outside and broke the double pane glass! Thank goodness he was not injured but then we were left with a huge hole in our window! Called a couple places for estimates but was really impressed with the gentlemen that came out for the estimate - knew the dimensions and the type of glass right away (still took accurate measurements). Assured me that they could cut the glass and be out ASAP. The next day they came out to install - good as new! Highly recommend Glass Doctor (I used the Crown Point location) and will not hesitate to use them again in the future but I hope not for this type of situation! :) Thanks team!

Good work, he would have got 5 stars but he was a hour late.

Glass Doctor is a great place for windshield replacement. They did a perfect replacement for me and I was in and out of there in less then two hours. Dependable and quality work. You won't go wrong having them do your replacement. I give them 5 stars for what they did for me.
