Glass Doctor of Harrisburg, IL

Took my kitchen window in for repair in October 2022. I have still not gotten it back. I have left weekly messages and have had no return calls. Horrible company. As soon as I can get my window back I will take it somewhere else. Don't use this company.

While doing grounds maintenance for a nursing home in Metropolis, I shattered a glass door weed eating on a Friday afternoon. I temporarily fixed it as I was leaving for vacation. I called the following Monday morning to every business I found online in Western Kentucky that would repair doors. I had several that said they would be out to give an estimate on repairs, and never showed up. But most said they were 4-6 months out for any repairs as they were consumed with storm damage repairs. Upon my return I got online and started looking for someone in southern Illinois or Missouri and Found the Glass Doctor out of Vienna and Harrisburg. The receptionist was extremely helpful. I didn't know if I was going to do the repair on my own or let one of their techs do it. As I needed it repaired as soon as possible. She found the glass I needed, and had a tech out within a few hours for replacement. My bill was about half of what I anticipated. The tech allowed me to watch and showed me exactly how to make the repair if I needed to in the future. I will highly recommend them to anyone that asks, and they will be my first call in the future. Polite, thorough, prompt, and accommodating. Excellent worksmanship. Not easily handicapped accessible. Well lit and cheery waiting area.

Shout out to Megan at the Harrisburg location for helping to get glass I had previously ordered. The Mt Vernon location is currently shut down and we had no way to pick up our glass. After what seemed like a million phone calls to find someone to help - I finally heard back from Megan who helped find the glass and scheduled people to meet me to pick it up. She was always responsive and got the job done!

Absolutely would never use again...Customer service great but the work was not even close to correct after 2 tries
