A nice family attraction for anyone who loves dinosaurs. The free parking was easy and the admission prices were reasonable for a family of four. There are fee activities that are included in their Commanders Pass but we weren’t sure if our kids would like any of it so we opted for the Day Pass only and paid as we went when they wanted do participate in the fee extras. There were plenty of shows and activities that are free pretty much every 15-30 minutes. It looks like you can finish this park in an hour or stay hours to see majority of the shows. We ended up visiting on weekday, not crowded at all, and stayed for 3+ hours. Our children loved it. Thank you Field Station: Dinosaurs!
2nd year coming here. This place is great. They've repainted and maintained the dinosaurs, which is nice to see. Me and my son spent about 3 hours here, just running around and playing. The new additions of the dinosaur race and bounce house were a hit. My only complaint was the new jurassic bounce. Last year's went super high. The new one that had barely bounced. Other than that it was a great experience. Will def be back next year
Awesome place for little kids! Lots of dinosaurs to keep their attention and likewise the staff is unbelievably friendly and quite knowledgeable! You can get stamps from all of the paleontologists on staff as the kids listen to their spiel on the particular dinosaur
All in all, it was a great time with my niece and nephew
The kids activities were great, the dinosaurs were alright, didn't move as much as expected. You can see everything in an hour or spend much longer if you attend the activities. Usually discounted tickets are available on Groupon or similar.
Great little place. My kids loved it. My older ones were a bit too old, but had a blast. It seems to be aimed for about ages 2-10, but my older ones followed along and enjoyed. A couple dinos had some weather spots and my 2 year old asked why the trex made squeaky noises. I was surprised they didn't move or make more noise. You had to stop and watch it for a min to see if it was moving or not. Both sound and movement were pretty minimal, but my littlest one didnt care, he loved it! Overall it was very neat. We got in free with the sunflower summer app, and the facility seemed to recommend we use it, which was nice, and helped us make it work so we didn't have to pay.
