Don’t waste your time. 10 min scalp massage was a joke. We went in for wash at 12:00 in chair for blow out by 12:04. My daughter and I both got blow outs mine was good but hers was not good at all! Spent $200 for nothing!
Update: received a text and call right away. She offered to reschedule to come in with the locations trainer but we love out of town. Was in town for a wedding. She was very nice and made sure she took care of me. And next time we go back (which we 100% will) she made special notes on the account to be scheduled with her. I appreciated the quick call back and genuine concern for us.
While I was so happy with my blowout I was deeply disturbed to find out that I had to pay out of pocket despite having multiple barfly blowouts still avail on my canceled barfly membership. I was not aware or told that they expire within 90 days. I was extremely disappointed to find this out once I was already at Drybar and I didn’t want to cancel. I am definitely not going back.
Update:
I got a call from Tom’s River Drybar manager, she was very sweet and explained that this is a Drybar policy. She refunded today’s visit which was very thoughtful.
Went in with my daughter today for a blowout and my daughter got the Shirley Temple. I cannot say enough great things. Everyone that worked there was absolutely amazing, super accommodating, and my hair looks so good! We had such a great experience and cannot wait to go back.
Loved my first experience here. Appointment was prompt, great light conversation, and gave me exactly what I requested with my blowout. The receptionist also sent me out with an umbrella for the rain. I was very satisfied.
This is my 4th Drybar visit - all different locations. Every SINGLE time they have been late - VERY late. I arrived on time for my 8:45am appointment - I was the only person waiting. Multiple people with appointments AFTER MINE (9:00am, etc.) got seated before I did. I did not get seated until 9:15am - 30 minutes after my appointment. I don't understand Drybar's business model. The called me the day before to confirm and yet I'm waiting 30 minutes to get seated and people with appointments after me got in before me. This appointment I booked was to get a nice hairstyle for my father-in-law's funeral. I made the appointment early so I could still have time to get my nails done and do my makeup - the lateness of Drybar ruined all of that. My hair turned out great but the experience was TERRIBLE. A simple text or call from them to tell me they were running behind would have been helpful and respectful. Instead they wasted my time on a very sad day. Even checking out and trying to pay was a mess - they have no idea what they are doing. I doubt anyone will read this but this was my 4th terrible experience with this company.
***EDIT***
Shortly after leaving my review, Tara the owner of this location called me directly from her personal phone to apologize and try to understand what went wrong on that morning. I appreciate the personal touch. Thank you Tara.
