We had a wedding today and our hairstylist bailed on the bride and wedding party and dry bar came thru helping 6 of us for the big day. Not only did they accommodate, but we’re so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond.
Rosie was absolutely wonderful! Showed her a reference photo and she executed beautifully and quickly! Super appreciate them being able to get me in same day too
I scheduled an appointment for a dry style and had to cancel within 12 hour cancellation policy since my photoshoot ended up getting cancelled due to weather. I called salon twice and left a voicemail 2 hours prior to my appointment. No answer or returned call. I cancelled online because I was getting nervous about not hearing back from them. I decided to go since cancellation policy is $25, why not have my hair look nice for $10 more just because? I show up before my appointment time and they tell me they can take me but still have to charge me the $25 cancellation plus the $35 dry style fee. I said forget it, I ended up leaving with my name and phone number to have the shop manager to call me back. Never received anything. Where is the kindness, humanity and perspective? Drybar Westlake has officially lost my business for good.
The service is excellent. The hair wash is thorough. All the stylists do a fantastic job (save one). I am appalled, however, by the pricing. In just over a year, they raised their price from $45 to $50 to $55. Now, it just went up again to $59.00! Perhaps I should take my business elsewhere.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by my visit. I got my hair done for a wedding that I was in, over the weekend. It stayed all day and night (longer than some of the other girls in the wedding party), and I paid less than half the price that they paid for the bridal party hair stylist! I look forward to visiting another Dry Bar soon!
