I got my hair done at this location of dry bar for a work Christmas party and was very unhappy with the results. I ended up having to re curl my whole head once home which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by making an appointment here. I have been to the dry bar at least a dozen times (other locations) over the past few years and never left unhappy. I even used them for my wedding events and my hair looked great! But the service I got this time was bad. I left with my hair feeling crunchy and not at all what I wanted it to. The curls were tight and the stylist didn’t seem able to get my front pieces to curl (a problem I’ve never had). My stylist assured me that once I brushed out my hair with a comb it would fall perfect (it ended up just falling flat, even though I have never once had problems with my hair holding a curl in my whole life but especially not when done at dry bar). And on top of that it took 45 minutes longer than it has any other time I had gone. I love dry bar and will probably go again but I can’t see myself going to this particular location again.
Do not recommend!
We booked a group of 5 of us to get blow outs done for an event. For most of us the styles didn’t last more than an hour. Hair fell completely flat well before our event . My daughter’s hair is naturally wavy and I asked for curls and her hair was completely straight after an hour.
I asked if a couple of us could come back to get it fixed and was told they would not be able to accommodate us. We were not offered to come back to get it fixed!
We have had our hair professionally blown out before elsewhere and have not had this happen so the hair itself can’t be blamed either.
When you have your hair professionally done, it should definitely last more than an hour. They charge you before the service and don’t offer any compensation for this. They don’t guarantee any satisfaction.
I just got my service done today and after I left they secretly charged my card without my consent. They also added extra charges aka tip for themselves. The service was horrible to begin with because my hair didn’t feel professionally worked on. My 18 year old sister does her blow outs at home and hers looks more professional. The lady who worked on my hair didn’t put in an effort or seemed experienced. It seems like they’re just hiring to get business not for quality.
I take my great aunt here every week to get her hair done. They always do such an amazing job. Thank you to Ariel, and all the girls there for always making her feel so special.
Wish I could put no stars!!!!! I usually like to post good reviews but today I was beyond annoyed! I scheduled my appointment 3 days in advance. This is approximately my 3rd appointment so I’m not new!! The 1st time I went I asked the stylist what all services was offered. She simply stated that they only wash, blowout, and basic styles. I inquired about hair color, she stated that they don’t color but I can color my hair at home and they will wash it out which was something new but I said ok because she did a really good job with my hair. My next appointment I dyed my hair and she washed my hair with no problem. I have absolutely no reason to lie or stretch the truth!!! I went for my scheduled appointment today and was greeted with someone who claims she’s the regional manager. I’m to furious to remember her name! She told me I can’t come with chemicals in my hair and have to leave. Confused because it’s their employee who suggested that I can wash my hair there, she told me they can’t take me today but I can reschedule for tomorrow which the reason for me doing my hair and scheduling my appointment 3 days in advance was because I 2 events to attend. After I asked her what the reason was she said there’s a note under my name about dye this is after I told her it’s not my first time doing it.. The multiple sad excuses I was given made me furious. I asked her to show me or read what it said in the notes that was under my name she couldn’t. Then she said the plumber stated the dye clogs their drain! What are you serious?? So dye clogs the drain faster than loose hair? After she realized that wasn’t making sense she said it’s on the website. I questioned her where on the website states I couldn’t come with dye, being the REGIONAL MANAGER I told her to show me where it states that, again she couldn’t. Now I’m there with dye in my hair with no hair appointment and have 2 events to go the next day. Obviously after this post there will mysteriously be notes under my name. Unfortunately none of the wonderful ladies who worked there before are no longer there. Because how can the person who suggested me to come with dye and the same person who did my hair twice before very genuinely nice have notes under my name that I can’t come with dye. I now I have to spend $150 to another salon because it’s a last minute booking!! She could’ve given me a warning because who would waste their time if I was supposedly warned prior. Why would I put myself through that embarrassment?? I really enjoyed that salon but as I noticed none of the stylists that were there when I was last there works there anymore, so they obviously are having issues. Make it make sense Very Very UNPROFESSIONAL and Extremely disappointed!!
