Drybar - Flatiron

I left with frizzy, poorly styled, poorly parted hair with not an ounce of product in it (I had to go to Sephora straight after to put product in myself because she neglected to do so). It was evident she wanted to be done as quickly as possible. When she turned me around, I spoke up about the poor styling and expressed how I wanted it to look instead. She sloppily and lazily attempted to fix it, made it look worse, kind of shrugged, and made it clear she was done. How do you not know how to do hair when your job is to do hair? Waste of money.

Giovanna for a blow dry is a must!!! Tried her for the first time and she was amazing. My hair is voluminous, sleek and silky all at the same time. She has lots of salon experience and was a pleasure to talk to!

Second experience at this particular DryBar and this experience was worse than the first. The stylists are not the problem it’s the manager and the front desk staff who had the audacity to roll their eyes at me bc their colleague gave me bad advice (apparently) about booking appointments for 15 mins earlier than when I need the appointment bc they are ALWAYS running behind. The “best” they could do is a dry style so now I have to attend a black tie event with dirty hair. I will cancel my Barfly membership and find an alternative for a simple blowout. Read the other reviews and steer clear of the Flatiron DryBar.

Had an awful experience here with the front desk guy, he like refused to accommodate me after being 5 minutes late. To note, I was joining a corporate party of 3 who were all getting blowout and bought gift card. As a compromise they said they would reschedule me and honor the fee that was paid on the day. I show up to my rescheduled appointment for them to say they don't have it on file that I paid. Ridiculous

Do not book an appointment or go here. I wish I could give it 0 stars because it doesn’t even deserve 1. I have gone to multiple different Drybar locations in different states and have always had amazing experiences but not today. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I booked 2 blowouts earlier this week for my mother and I. We arrived early for our apointment. At 9:40, after waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time, we asked what was happening. We’re told one stylist was “extremely late” and the other was “finishing up” after 10 more minutes we realized we were not going to make our bridal shower if we stayed so we ended up leaving with our hair not done. The late stylist NEVER showed up and the finishing up stylist was still midway through her appointment. While I get things happen and stuff runs late, the unprofessionalism of this location is insane. We ended up paying $30 in Ubers to not get our hair done. I am also in the beauty industry and I would be disgusted with myself if this was the type of service I offered.
