Drybar - Dallas - Uptown

Went in for glamorous waves. 2 hours later I left looking like a joke version of Shirley temple. Green haired stylist said the style was difficult for her and blamed it on the length of my hair. They didn’t charge me because it was clearly awful. Never again.

I was seated promptly. My original stylist could not do my hair and had to switch with someone even though I have curly hair listed. I’m glad she changed because in the end I had a great stylist.

I’m a lawyer and get my hair done at least once a week because I need my hair to look good constantly. - so im not writing a bad review for no reason. The only reason I went to DryBar today is because my usual hairdresser is closed on Friday evening (and who is pricier than DryBar) was closed that afternoon. Trust me when I say this was the worse blow out I’ve even gotten in my life - I would have gotten the same result had I done it MYSELF. I have fine hair but a LOT of hair. Not only did my technician not know how to correctly wash my hair (she was only scrapping the top of my hair!!) but my hair was frizzy and I had to literally tell her how to do her job! My legs literally started shaking as I needed my hair correctly done that night and my hair looked the worst it ever had - just like I had got into a rainstorm. I got furious and my face got red when I saw how my hair looked and literally asked to have another technician finish my hair. Well, the second one wasn’t even better. Please read carefully the other reviews because they’re right! Avoid this place! They’ll also give you a side eye when you leave if you complained (which you should have someone gives you a terrible service!!)

I called and was fortunate to get a same day appointment. My stylist was Subrina and she was AMAZING. She was so friendly and did a fabulous job on my hair and I will book again with her.

I had an amazing experience at this Drybar location. I have thick and curly and unruly hair AND three rows of extensions - my head is NOT an easy job which is why I am sometimes reluctant to schedule blowouts. From the very beginning, I felt extremely comfortable in Celest’s chair. She transformed my wild hair into a tame, smooth, beautiful masterpiece in just one hour. She was kind, professional, and definitely knows what she’s doing behind the chair. I will absolutely return to this location and am considering getting the monthly membership, as my experience was that good.
