Drybar - Chestnut Hill

I have visited this location many times over the past 5 years and every time I have left a very happy customer. These stylists are PROS! In my opinion, over the past few years, this location has suffered from very poor maintenance and upkeep. The floor board moldings, walls and doors are filthy. There is dirt build-up on so many surfaces. I would love it if the owners would take serious steps towards cleaning, repainting and re-wall papering this location. Shout-out to Rosa! Last Thursday she gave me my best blow-out ever!

Me and two of my family members went and got updos for a wedding, everything came out beautiful! I would especially like to shout out the amazing work of Rosa, I have never gotten that many compliments on my hair!! She really was the MVP of the night!!

My hair Looks good. The woman was sweet but the customer service should be a negative negative -0 I’ve gone here many times before and it was a good experience. First off my appointment started 30 minutes late. Absolutely unacceptable to continue on I saw all three hairdressers finish their clients and go to the back for 5-10 mins and then continue on the talk with their friends, when they new people were waiting and they were running behind ( as the front desk women stated “ their was a mix up earlier”) instead of immediately cleaning up their station every single one of them went to the back and started chitchatting to their friends absolutely once again unacceptable. I Asked the woman at the front desk how much longer it would be in the woman gave me complete attitude that is not customer service. On top of that when I checked in to my appointment, I was ahead of two ladies I checked in before them yet they both went before me. I asked the front desk woman why that was, and she claimed that their appointments were before me, but in fact, that is incorrect as I heard them both state their appointment was at 430 the same time as mine. so why the desk woman put them ahead of me, is beyond me so disappointing will not go back, and I did not get a discount for my service being 30 minutes late. On top of that I tipped my woman in cash before I got up from the chair. I do not think the front desk woman realized that cause when I was going to check out the desk women said to me did you tip when I said yes I tipped in cash she was like OK then you are OK to go (like am I not OK to go if I don’t tip??? I do not need to tip especially when my appointment is extremely behind and there is bad customer service)

Drybar is amazing! Love getting a blowout - it is so relaxing and the stylist did an excellent job getting my hair pin straight as requested. It lasted several days. Only thing might want to improve is more availability - hard to get weekend appointments.

I had the worst experience imaginable. I made an appointment for an "uptini" for a wedding I was attending. I showed the stylist a simple slicked back bun. The stylist NEVER used a brush or a comb the whole session! She just grabbed sections of my hair and put it through a flat iron, which I'm not even sure was hot or even turned on! My hair didn't even look close to the picture I showed her or what was on the drybar website. I've never been to a hair salon where the stylist didn't use any kind of brush or comb. The only product she used was hairspray at the end, she didn't even use heat protectant! I am beyond furious and had to fix my hair before the wedding. I didn't even have time to complain. This was the absolute worst day of my life. don't ever go here!!!!!!
