The "Safari" was okay.... It was short but had large simple animatronic dinosaurs (not all of them, but most of the big ones). The interaction part is very limited; a couple mystery boxes and pretend binoculars. A couple of the "exhibits" were interesting the rest were simply just something else to walk by. The only interaction part my kids liked was the sand box that projects water, land, and volcanos based on the height of your sand pile. There was a tiny arcade-like area, but you need to pay for everything. There's a dinosaur with a saddle, if it is working the small children can ride (if you pay extra per ride), it moves very slowly and kids likely will get bored before the couple of minutes are up.
The gift shop is okay, simple dino related things. Nothing that will remind you directly of this place, mostly dinosaurs (many of which were not on the "Safari".
A nice experience including animatronic dinosaurs. It would be especially fun for kids (and for any adult that loves dinosaurs!). The entrance team were very nice and friendly with us. Walk at your own pace learning about dinosaurs and their interesting facts. If your kids (or you) loves dinosaurs and science, you'll enjoy this dino safari.
I took my 4-year-old grandson and his 6-year-old brother to the Dino Safari. I was so disappointed! $143.00 dollars later, plus I took the little rascals to get pizza also. I thought the displays of the dinosaurs were lame! When I booked online, I bought 1 adult ticket and 2 kids. Then I paid extra for (as it said) safari ride?... 5 dollars a piece, then I bought the virtual experience 5 dollars a piece, and 1 photograph for $20.00. The safari ride was on a toy horse like I would ride as a toddler in front of sears! The virtual experience was not bad. I think age limit would of been helpful... I had to keep putting their goggles back on.
was included in our city go pass so we decided to give it a try me and my husband love dinosaurs and enjoyed this museum a lot! the dino slide was also very fun we essentially had the place to ourselves we saw no one else as we walked through all the exhibits. the animatronics are very cute and this would be a very cute slightly cheesy place to bring the kids or for any adult who loves dinos. i do wish the gift shop had more t shirts for adults tho
It was a fun experience and they look so nice and scary! It has a fun little activity of coloring a dinosaur and then having it come to live on a screen. My niece and nephew loved it! I 100% think kids will enjoy it a lot and possibly be a little scared but amazed!
