Horrible experience with Dr Steck and the referral out with Dr Koch. They are definitely not up to date on procedures. Zero bedside manner. I suppose this is the norm for this area of the country.

I called to schedule and appointment, the “scheduling clerk” NEVER mention I had to bring my previous MRI cd. The day of my appointment, as I’m on my way out the door I get a call “don’t forget to bring your CD”. Really..don’t forget. I called back informing the office I was never told that. Their reply was, well if you don’t have it you’ll have to reschedule. I called the office manager (guess that’s who she transferred me to); left her a message about the situation. Yes, I said you don’t have to call back, I don’t want to been seen by such an unprofessional staff. You think the “office manager” would still call back to offer some type of apology due to an unhappy patient. Never heard from no one. Please make sure you have a list of questions to ask because you won’t get told what’s required from there staff. Better yet find another neurologist.

Highly recommend. All the staff from front office to the technicians are great. Dr Maxwell and her assistants, audiologists, nurse practitioners, nurses are very professional and caring. I never found myself waiting around... you arrive on time and they get you back to the exam/testing areas very quickly and efficiently. They have many specialities but I can personally say when it comes to balance and hearing issues... they are the best for diagnosis and treatment. It is no wonder they are recommended by other physicians not affiliated with them.

The receptionist on the phone is so incredibly rude. Reading previous reviews , it clearly isn’t the first time. Hung up on me before I could ask to be transferred to the physical therapy office. I clicked the physical therapy option when calling the phone call provided and was still transferred to the neurology office.

I sought a second opinion at Culicchia Neurological. An orthopedist had told me that I needed neck surgery ASAP. Based on the nature of my condition, I sought a second opinion from Dr. Steck, who specializes in that area. He did not recommend surgery, and after more specific tests and PT, I am doing a lot better. Even if he has recommended surgery, I would have a positive review. His staff is excellent and I was able to get appointments quickly and didn’t wait long.
