WOW! What a great experience. I had to have my car repaired after an accident and I was dreading having to deal with a body shop to get it fixed. The entire team at Colorado Auto Body was fantastic. From the first phone call and quick response to the help coordinating things with Enterprise Rental to get a car while mine was being fixed. All great experiences. Jimey was the best! So friendly and helpful. Gave me the details I needed and worked with our insurance to make it so easy for me. The repairs were completed FAST and the car looks brand new again! Thank you for making this painless and for taking great care of everything!

I had an excellent experience with Colorado auto body. I had some hail damage and they made the whole process of getting it fixed easy and efficient. I worked with Max and he was extremely helpful every step of the way. The work they did is absolutely top notch. You would never know I had even the slightest ding. Would highly recommend this shop without reservation!

I booked my appointment over two months ago following damage caused by the valet at my office building. The estimate and initial process went smoothly. Several days prior to my appointment, I received an email from Colorado Auto Body requesting confirmation for my drop off date, and I immediately responded with the confirmation. However, when I went to drop off my vehicle for repairs, I was met by an incredibly rude woman working the front desk, and she informed me that they could not being any work on my vehicle until they received all approval from the valet’s insurance company, and ALL payment up front—which is entirely contrary to the terms included in the estimate. I tried to explain that the valet’s insurance company had already received the estimate and had issued a check directly to me— not Colorado Auto Body—for the cost of the estimate, and that I would be paying out of pocket for the entire cost and would deal with the insurance company on the back end if there were any excess costs. I was told “that’s not how this works” and that I need to hand over to Colorado Auto Body any checks that were made out to me personally before they would accept my vehicle, which does not make any sense whatsoever. Now, due to the employees’ actions, I’m left scrambling to find a new repair shop after waiting over two months in the first place. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Bring your business elsewhere.

Colorado Auto Body, Castle Rock location Work completed June 2023. Total repairs completed $2,232.94 I received a preliminary estimate in May 2022 from Jime Abeyta. At that time, I was impressed with Jime and Colorado Auto Body. In preparation for selling the car, I wanted all dents and scrapes repaired. In going over the car, I pointed out that my rearview camera had been hit and the “view” was off. Jime actually had one of the techs come out and the tech repositioned the camera to correct the view. I was stunned. Who does that these days! The estimate I received was good for a year. I opted not to have the rear gate replaced, so I thought the estimate covered all but that. In May 2023, I contacted Colorado Auto Body to confirm that the estimate was still good. Unfortunately, Jime was no longer an employee, but the person with whom I spoke (Max) assured me the estimate was still good and I scheduled an appointment for June 12, 2023. First let me say I take FULL responsibility for not reviewing the estimate at this time with someone at Colorado Auto Body. Nor did I communicate my expectations about the work, except to clarify the tailgate was not to be replaced. I received a call on June 13 from Ken, who told me some of the work was going to require more time than originally thought, and the additional time would be $335 or thereabouts. I told him to proceed. When I picked the car up, I immediately noticed a spot/scrape that had not been repaired. The more I looked, the more dents and scrapes I noticed. It seemed somewhat hit or miss. So…… then I spoke with Bill Henley. Bill explained that all the work had been completed per the preliminary estimate. I asked why no one would have questioned why fix this dent, but not the one next to it? All the scrapes and dents were pretty minor. There didn’t seem to be any that were really major and that’s what got fixed. The bodywork repairs were random. I couldn’t imagine why someone didn’t call to clarify the job with me. Of course we couldn’t go back to Jime, as he was gone. Bill told me he’d speak with his manager (I’m confident this never happened). THEN Bill told me he remembered speaking with me at the time of the original estimate. We had discussed having all damage repaired and he had told at that time the price would be around $10,000. I can tell you I never spoke with Bill until June 2023! Not sure why he felt the need to lie. I did tell him I wasn’t a happy customer. Left with no recourse but to shell out more money, I took my vehicle and left feeling about half the work had been completed. Oddly enough, the customer survey that “everyone” receives never made it to me. I called to ask about the survey and somehow they had an incorrect email for me. Apparently the survey went to the invalid email and Colorado Auto Body couldn’t resend it to me at the correct address. How convenient! In a nutshell, while the work done looks good, my expectations were not met, communications were poor and then we have the lies. I think the obvious lies bother me the most. A lesson learned for me! I was so stupid not to clarify ALL the details, especially after a year and with new management. Should have taken photos too!

What an AWESOME experience! Ken and his team were detailed, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The entire customer-centric experience from the appt confirmation, State Farm Insurance claim, follow up, and gorgeous paint and detail (Thanks KENNY!!) for my car was so impressive. I couldnt be happier - the car looks brand new! Thank you! - Darlene
