Cherry Blow Dry Bar

What a fantastic experience! Great music, professional staff, and a beautiful hairdo. Val did an amazing job on my hair!

I don't usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but given the fact that I gave Cherry Blow Dry Bar not one but THREE chances to rectify my issue and they chose not to, it's time. Ill make it fairly short - I called to make an appointment, asked if they could do the hair style I was looking for, was told they could, but when I arrived it was clear they could not. The girls were kind and polite, I give them that, but it was not a complicated style. In fact, that weekend, I was able to re-create it myself on my daughter after watching just one video tutorial (which I had played for the stylist). I wanted to leave and said it was ok, I would go home and curl my own hair, but the stylist said she could do that so I accepted because I felt bad having her lose my slot and money. She washed and "curled" my hair by blowing it around a round brush, pinning it to my head in sections, and spraying each section with hair spray. I left with straight hair, had to go home and wash my hair a THIRD time for the day so that I could curl it myself. All of this took an hour and fifteen minutes instead of the about thirty it should have, so we also left late for the wedding we were going to that afternoon. I sent the location a message about my experience and heard nothing. I followed up with them, and once again did not get a response. I then emailed corporate and they also did not respond to me, and its been a month now so it is clear they do not care. I have told plenty of people about my experience and plan to tell any one else asking for a recommendation.

First and last experience at this blow dry bar. I came simply because it’s one of the only blow dry bars in the area. I was under the impression that it had to be good if you are only doing blow outs. The salon itself was nice and clean. The girl who did my hair before even asking me what i wanted immediately told me i needed a haircut I asked for volume and curls. It looked great for a minutes before it all fell flat. 30 mins after leaving there was no volume and an hour after having her curl my entire head, there is not a single curl in sight. Whenever I curl my own hair it stays for days.. I’m so disappointed. They give you an attitude when you don’t sign up for a membership when you check out.

I have been a client here since the start. What started out as a great place has declined drastically due to a management change. The great stylists never stay! Some of the best blow outs I have ever had were at Cherry. It’s sad that the owners don’t have more of a handle on what’s going on. If you do decide to book at Cherry book with Courtney because she is professional and does a great job. The current manager gossips and speaks negatively about clients and other employees openly in front of customers which is extremely distasteful! The final straw for me was watching yet another incredibly talented stylist leave.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! when i moved to the area i was really nervous finding a salon that can blow up my super curly thick hair. I love my blow outs here, my hair can last for like a week or more if i wanted it to! Happy to have found Cherry blow out !
