Cherry Blow Dry Bar - Dr Phillips

I went here with many girls to get our hair done before a rehearsal dinner and our experiences were awful. We paid extra for a treatment to help our hair. We were told that this would help our hair in the humidity. We also told the stylist that we were going to be in an indoor outdoor event and needed our hair to last. My stylist told me to use a hot tool so we did. By the time I Got to event to change into my dress (15 mins away) my hair looked like this! I asked for the old Hollywood glam style curls. I’ve done this style many times and never had an issue. My hair holds a curl no problem. We called them immediately and told them how horrible this was but they only offered a restyle. We told them how time was of the essence and we had an event and could not get a restyle. We called the store many times. Wendy told us she would pass this along to the owner and we are still yet to hear from anyone. This was beyond frustrating.

Everyone was friendly and my appointment was on time. I had to pay for extra time because I have naturally curly hair, which is fine. Immediately after I was unsure of the results but didn’t ask for it to be fixed, because I didn’t want to pay even more for extra time. I was also talked into spending $20 on an anti frizz treatment, that sells for only about $25 for the whole bottle at Sephora. By the time I got home 20 min later I realized how bad the results were. Immediately frizzy, and barely any curl and volume. All in I paid $100 with tip. Not the professional result I was hoping for.

This place is absolutely amazing! Wendy in the front is so sweet and helpful! I go to Alexis for all things hair and she is spectacular!! Knows how to do everything and I leave feeling so beautiful and ready for the day or night! Must come check them out!

This place is awesome for all your beauty needs. Kelly does my color. They are open 7 days a week which makes it so convenient to get your hair taken care of. Facial waxing & makeup service makes this my favorite place to go before special events!! I really love to go on Sunday mornings as they give Mimosas out!

Gabriel is the best! I trust him to give me a great blow out before filming my fitness videos monthly and the blowout not only makes it through filming, but often lasts 2-3 days after! 😍 Wendy, the owner, is also flexible and accommodating and great to try to fit in or cancel appointments to suit your busy schedule which is very helpful! Highly recommend!
