Chem-Dry of Michiana

We used Chem-Dry 16 years ago when we first bought this house. Our carpets probably need to be replaced, but we decided to give Chem-Dry a shot. The tech really hustled and did a great job cleaning our carpets. We had a big area covered with pet stains that turned out way better than expected! I was also happy with the price. I bought a sectional off FB marketplace. In good condition, the previous owner had dogs. Smelled like dog, not pee, I want to make that very clear and just had some dog hair on it. Nothing too bad. Called Chem-Dry to have it professionally cleaned before I moved it into my house. The total came to $425 to clean and deodorize it. For that $425, they were here all but 20 maybe 30 minutes. As far as I can tell all they accomplished was make the couch wet. Still has dog hair, and instead of smelling like dog it smelled like wet dog. I took the covers off and washed in the washing machine to get rid of the smell and the dog hair then took a vacuum to the frame. The results I got by doing it myself were 10000x better. And it wasn’t $425. This place it a ripoff.

Such a great first experience! Techs called to let me know they were running a bit behind (which actually worked out for me) and then called again when they were on their way. Did a great job. I have four dogs and they were quick and efficient so the dogs wouldn’t have to be locked out of the house for an extended period of time. Our couches look and smell amazing again. Highly recommend
