my insurer (cigna international) has a direct billing agreement with this and other millenium clinics in madrid but they refused to accept a membership card and authorisation code, instead demanding a written guarantee of payment. cigna assure me this was not necessary so i suggest the staff here inform themselves about this agreement!
I made an appointment by phone for my daughter and when I get to the center they tell me that my appointment has been canceled by the doctor because it was duplicated, as if that were my fault knowing that they are the ones who take them, and on top of that they don't even have the courtesy to call me to let me know so that I don't waste my time having to go there at 7:00 p.m. with a 5-year-old girl (who missed her extracurricular class to go to that appointment) after waiting for a while they tell me that there is no doctor who can take care of her and they can't do anything so I had to leave without anyone taking care of her. It seems like an absolute lack of respect towards my daughter.
and towards me since our time is worth like anyone else's and it is a shame that they do that. I pay for a policy that I barely use and the day I need it it is of no use to me, only to give me trouble and bad times.
It's a shame that they work with doctors with such poor ethics to do that to a patient.
It was a depressing experience. I went to have some tests done and when I addressed the gentleman who attended, who did not have the flyer printed but on his cell phone, he believed he had the right to be arrogant and disrespectful. I don't know if he thought I was a young girl that he could treat badly instead of almost 40. But in short, he should know how to deal with the public regardless of their race, origin or age. Because if they treat you kindly, the same thing this person does. So "Mateo" I hope you improve.
Because education is essential when it comes to serving the public.
Today I went to this center to have an extraction and despite the fear I have of needles, the staff was charming at all times and treated me with great patience and affection. Thanks to the 3 professionals who treated me (Mateo, Paula and Yanela), it has been a pleasure to meet with you, I will go there again if I need it :)
