Casa Santos

Pros: absolutely stunning design, incredibly quiet and peaceful, most comfortable bed outside my own I have found, beautiful views, delicious home cooked breakfast every morning, very responsive virtual front desk, detailed emails and correspondence on things to do / additional important info Cons: they suggest you rent a car, and truly you must. It’s about a 12 min drive down a dirt road to town, so not something you’d want to walk, and a half hour or so walk to the beach at least. Also, they have chronic power issues which are not within their control (state controlled power company) and we encountered multiple blackouts per day, which also controls the water. They have a generator but it is only turned on with an extended blackout. Honestly not a huge deal, just happened to be a wedding weekend for us so getting ready on a set schedule with blackouts was challenging.

Our stay at Casa Santos was simply perfect! We fell in love with every architectural and design detail, but the best part was the heartwarming breakfasts served by the friendly staff. Can't wait to return!

It's located very close to the beach, making it the perfect spot for a seaside getaway. The suites are beautifully modern and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This amazing lodging option in magical Todos Santos is located perfectly--walking distance to the beach plus super close to world-class yoga and all the quaint shop and restaurant options town has to offer. We were awakened each morning with a feast for the eyes in all directions! Incredible mountain vistas, dreamy desert flowers and cacti dotting the vast landscape, the great Pacific with its endless azure blue below and clear sky above made for incredible sunrises and sunsets. Even after dark, we were left in wonder as if we were seated front-row in the cosmos, salt air on our skin and the stars within arms reach. Can't properly convey this special place in words and also can't wait to get back! Bonus points for the mega-comfy beds, great rest.

What a magical spot! Couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my birthday with my closest peeps. The architecture is beautifully thought out, blending perfectly into the vast landscape, reminiscent to the great Louis Kahn. A very understated vibe throughout, from the overall design to the service, which is always a delicate balance to strike. The 360 views are breathtaking and the nearby beach is practically deserted. I totally recommend Casa Santos to the adventure-type traveler and hope to be back really soon.
