This is the best place to learn self defense! The instructors are so amazing!!! They show and teach discipline, focus, and determination! They are such an inspiration and motivation. Ever want to teach your kid discipline and manners. This is the place to go. Master C and Ms. Heather are awesome and the best! Come to CFMAF and learn some great life lessons!
I took their Women's Self Defense class earlier this summer and loved it! Master C and Heather are incredible instructors and were full of knowledge. I loved that we got hands on experience too! I ended up taking two more classes at their gym and really enjoyed both! Sadly I recently moved out of state, but I 100% would have continued training there!
I really wanted to share a Thanksgiving card with the staff at CFMAF, but of course there would be nothing out there that could precisely put into words what I want to say. I have come to a better understanding of “value” through the years and in my occupation I have learned that true “value” is projected by experience, attention to detail and consistency. I have found that at CFMAF. The training you get at this dojo isn’t to just churn out belts. You will sweat! You will push yourself farther and farther physically! You will be encouraged and be expected to encourage. It is a well rounded program that I would recommend to anyone wanting to do something challenging around like minded individuals that could possibly save your life or the life of individuals around you. Great family environment!
Above the bar industry-standard in so many ways.
You can tell within 10 seconds that Heather and Isaac are here with a genuine purpose to help improve their student.
The vibe of the studio is chill and welcoming.
There is excellent communication. Starting with a phone call within minutes of enrolling for a class for Women's Self Defense, to email explaining the class and other classes, to being greeted at the front desk when I arrived for class, taken on a quick tour of their giant facility, the class itself was engaging with dialog in all directions and respect for all of us. You just get a caring experience.
The Women's Self Defense Class. I've taken a few over the last few years. This one was much longer and I felt I learned new points of view I hadn't considered before. New reasons to take this part of life serious and encourage other women to learn as well.
I really appreciate that he had some of his students there helping lead the physical portion of the class. Shout-Out to Miss Nancy!
Sort of got a little confusing when all of us broke into groups but that got back on the rails with GOOD COMMUNICATION to everyone quickly.
Highly recommend you attend a class, meet Heather and Isaac, meet their students/instructors and he even had two of his son's there who were AMAZING in skills. I didn't get to talk with them but the way they worked with Isaac I could tell they have worked hard.
Overall this was the best 2.5 hours of time for me. Now to show up for further classes - with a PLAN and PRACTICE: Eyesight, Breathing, Balance...Closest Weapon/Closest Target.
My son started taking classes two weeks ago. I can’t even put into words how blessed we are to have found this….what I compare to a family. They care about your child, you as a person, and will help you/help you find a way if you need it. They have amazing classes/teachers and my son is hooked!
They deserve each of the 5 stars!
