Budget Blinds of Fort Collins

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We've been blown away by the level of service and care that's gone into every step of the process with Budget Blinds. Dalton and Rosemary have extensive product knowledge and did an amazing job sharing about the best options for our needs and answering all our questions. The installation went great and all their staff were friendly, conscientious, respectful, and skilled. We had to install in phases due to some warranty work in our new build and they were patient and flexible with the timeline. The owner, Todd, even came out to make sure we were happy at final install. Everyone on this team is top notch and the product and experience was worth every penny. After a nightmare warranty process in our home, we've worked with countless vendors and subcontractors. Budget Blinds of Fort Collins shined in comparison to everyone else we've dealt with the past 18 months. Highly recommend.

From the initial contact scheduling an appointment, to Dalton's vast knowledge of their product line and his expertise with measurement and installation concerns , the experience was seamless and beyond expectations. Dalton was exceptionally patient in reviewing options and answering questions. Installation was flawless. Todd and the entire staff define how all service providers should interact with their clients.

Fantastic service, experience and overall quality! Dalton, the consultant was great (shown on the right). He spent a lot of time showing us options, color choice and measured about 4 times just to make sure. That is actually one of the owners on the left there helping with the install. I highly recommend them for blinds, shutters and more.

Initially, we priced out Budget Blinds simply to compare to Lowe's and Home Depot. We were skeptical as the name implies cheap materials and craftsmanship; the super 8 of hotels if you will. However, when we met with Bill, he quickly changed our minds. Bill, the owner, came to the house, with entire suitcases of swatches and samples in tow. He showed us our many options - various types of blinds, shutters, and other window coverings. He helped select the exact paint to have the shutters match existing trim. He compiled clear cut estimates for our different options and made the buying process the easiest of our upgrades. The shutters were built to his measured specifications at an off-site facility. The installers brought everything with on the day they said they would arrive. The install process was smooth, and everything fit perfect. The prices were significantly less than the big box home improvement stores, for the same style and manufacturer. Bill was great in following up to ensure everything was perfect. We only had one issue with the internal gearing going bad; to which they had a replacement ordered and installed expeditiously. After such a great experience, I won't ever go back to Lowe's or Home depot for any future window treatment needs.

Dalton was personable and extremely thorough with his recommendations and measurements. He even took photos of shutters in his own home to show us how they would look from the outside. We are very pleased with the products we purchased and will definitely be recommending Budget Blinds to other friends in need of those services. Highly recommend!
