Blo Blow Dry Bar

The staff was friendly, but my hair and makeup didn't come out the way I wanted it. My hair was flat, and the makeup made me look like all the blood had been drained out of me. Very pale looking. The bright red lipstick was the only part of my face that had any color. Apparently, I was allergic to the makeup because I broke out in hives all over my face. Not very comfortable for about 3 days. The prices were reasonable but not something that I would do again.

Do not recommend if you have long, thick hair. I paid extra because I was told the length and thickness of my hair would require an additional 15 minutes, which I did not mind at all. An hour into my appointment my hair was not even dry yet. I could tell the hairstylist was getting frustrated and she turned the heat up on the blow dryer. She burned my scalp once and I let her know but she didn’t lower the temperature. She burned my scalp a second time, badly, before lowering the temperature. When I first sat down I was told two people could work on my hair to get me out of there quickly. After an hour and 45 minutes I asked the stylist if that second person would be able to help after all. She called over another stylist and after two hours I was finally done but my hair was frizzy and had hardly any curls in it. It definitely looked nothing like the picture in their style book. I’ve added a picture of the style book and what my hair looked like a block away from studio while I was pump in gas not even five minutes after I left the salon.

This is the best blow out I’ve ever had! Flor asked so many amazing questions about my hair, preferences, like, dislikes, products. It’s so smooth and soft! She’s amazing!

Terrible. Had an appointment at 9am to get my hair ready for my baby shower. There was only one person working I asked if she could verify if the other stylist was going to show up. 20 minutes later she called and tells me stylist is sick and another one is coming at 10am. There was another lady that left before me without her hair done, she told me they messed up her booking. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if you or book it 6 hours in advance.

Worse experience ever! My stylist left me sitting after shampoo to go do someone’s makeup even thought I told her I had an event and had made an appointment for a reason, a second stylist took over after finishing her blow out. She was sweet but my hair looked horrible. Had to run back home to fix my hair. Do not go here!
