This is a sweet little zoo in Athens, and free! I recommend going when the weather is good (not too hot, not too cold!) because we went when it was a little chilly and saw about two animals. My kids were a little disappointed, but now we know! Good for a stroller with paved walkways.
Beautiful place with seemingly very happy animals. Well thought out design and it's free to visit. Very peaceful and quiet, and the enclosures were nice too. The otters dragged a small pool into the pond and used it as a boat it was funny. Like having your own personal zoo Atlanta without people breathing down your neck the whole time! If you're in Athens, give this a visit.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place for a family day. It's free to come and see all the animals and there is a spacious park area with a lot of picnic tables and a playground. I was impressed with all the benches to stop and rest, water fountains and wheelchair accessible all throughout the park and little zoo. Love this gem of a place.
Great little community zoo. A cool little gem in the heart of Athens, and a fun place to take kids. Not a big exhibit, but still fun. Free of charge, but open to donations via their Amazon wishlist, QR code available at the park. There is also hiking, a pond, playground and community pool near by and a dog park currently under construction. Certainly worth a visit.

Very cool small zoo, definitely worth a walk. We saw animals in every cage, which is not always the case with zoo's. And it's free!
