Barry's Ace Hardware #2

I came in earlier and Isabel helped me she was very professional , kind and courteous. It was an absolute pleasure to be assisted by her Part two I came back an hour later because I lost the initial product I got from her and I was assisted by Andres he was also polite and courteous. I didn’t remember sizes and type of the product earlier so I asked Andres if I could see if Isabel would remember and he said yes so she came picked out what I got an hour ago and I was completely satisfied with both of the customer service agents. So kudos to Barry’s Ace Hardware for having two great customer service representatives

So I enter the store I showed a picture of the item they carried to the cashier. She had long black hair. Oh that would be in aisle 8. I said it was electrical lightening. Well I went down to that aisle well it wasn't there only spray paint. I then followed my instinct went to the electrical aisle and there is was. As I was checking out. Hey can you help cover for me they called me over an hour ago and you know I was busy. I don't remember why they called me. Said the other employee. The cashier then said I don't know what they wanted I had my earphones in. As I walk at the door the young man said to the lady with the poney tail where have you been I have been calling you for help over an hour ago. I get it people go to work for a paycheck. But how does this show team work or how does this help out the consumer. I do love Ace hardware. But you have to do better than this.

My husband and I are of Hispanic ethnicity,and granted were a bit dusty as we just got done recycling some scrap metal, we didn't think we'd be followed around by what seemed like every working employee in the store. Nor did we appreciate being asked several times if we needed help/if there was something we were looking for as we answered clearly and politely no that we were just looking around.(it's a small small store you could hear the answer no matter where you are standing.) We honestly werw just killing time as we were waiting on our pizza that we just ordered. Unfortunately we did find a couple of things that we needed for our trailer and jeep. Again we had just cashed out from recycling so we had plenty of money. I refused to purchase anything from that ,what seems to me as a racist stereotyping retailer. There were plenty of customers in the store but none being treated the way we were, and I am disgusted with these people. It's so sad that now in 2023 that people are still experiencing situations such as this . Shame on you ace hardware I'll never come to this place again and I highly DON'T recommend this place

I wanted want to take the time and thank the employees at Ace for their assistance. Justin and the crew helped me out yesterday around 4pm to fix my daughters window. They made me felt welcomed and helped me build my daughters window. Thank you guys will see you guys again!

I go to Ace when I need help because the big stores have no help or input to offer. Everyone that I've rldealt with at ace has been extremely helpful and goes the extra mile to help their customers.
