BIRKENSTOCK SoHo

Visited the first Saturday of December and while the store was busy, the customer service was excellent! The door greeter was kind and friendly. Overall excellent experience!!

Popped by today to try some on before buying. The staff was welcoming and helpful, without being overbearing. They also had my sizes in the items I was interested in. Going to wait for some kind of sale before buying, but so glad I stopped in and got to try them out!

Attentive & kind customer service :) Didn’t have to seek help & was fitted to the proper size. Very busy but it’s SoHo so keep expectations of area in mind. Very kind doorman as well!

To me, it was very busy in the store at 11:40am on a Thursday and the manager (?) helped me immediately, staying in touch through the whole experience. She was amazing. And said this packed store was not busy for them . . . I got to try on the correct size. (I had ordered online & they were too small.) She got me the larger size and I tried one other style, within minutes. (They have a stock runner.) The return was swift and super professional and friendly. I thought, "Wow, go Birkenstock SOHO, you all are AMAZING." Afterwards, I ordered another pair, in the correct size, and extra sparkly PINK online. A great experience. Also, their UPS ground shipping is super-fast. I think because they ship from stores & not a warehouse. THANK YOU! This was a great customer experience, for sure.

I visited the Birkenstock store from NJ to get my correct fitting and purchase my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. The employees were very nice and exceptional. They helped me find my size and bring me the sandals I wanted. The store was a bit crowded and when I was directed upstairs to ask for the color sandals I wanted, the lighting gets a bit darker. I requested my color, first one came without the tags on, I asked why and they said it could possibly be that it was a “display” so I asked for another pair. The 2nd pair, the leather color was smeared all over the paper and the color was faded on the sandal, so I went with the first pair. When I got home, I compared the sandals, the left one was significantly darker and rougher. I checked, the suede was no good, seems like it either maybe got wet, not preserved correctly, or tried on too many times. I emailed their customer service who told me to go back to the store but I live far. You’re better off just going to a local Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s.
