Great experience around animals, things to buy and a lot of food to try. You gotta get early so you can spend the whole day here cause there is a lot to do. It’s family friendly and there are interesting things to see and do in every corner. The cost of the entrance ticket is around $15-$17. There is a lot of parking too.
Pretty fun, Mostly walking around and having people try to sell you stuff. Rides are great, but you can go through ride tickets pretty quickly. 1 carnival game with my son used all our game tickets. Overall, we had a good time and didn't end up spending as much as we anticipated.
The day we visited there was not a lot going on in terms of events or anything. We did enjoy looking at the huge pumpkin 🎃 and the people in Star Wars costumes. I would recommend wearing boots of some sort as the parking we used was basically a mud field, also AWD vehicle if possible, I'm not sure if this was the overflow parking or main parking but it was very muddy. There were a lot of cool artisan shops, some livestock shows, and lots of interesting food 🥑 options.
I attended the fair 2 times. What an amazing experience. There's something for everyone here. The goat yoga was so much fun and funny. (Pics) The rodeo was also alot of fun. Loved this fair.
We happened to visit this during our Alaska trip, state fair in Palmer was an absolute treat! The backdrop of stunning mountain views added a magical touch to the festivities. The variety of vendors and food options left me spoiled for choice, from mouthwatering local delicacies to unique crafts. The fair's vibrant atmosphere and lively entertainment made it a perfect family outing. I can't wait to return next year and soak in more of Alaska's charm at this wonderful event!
