Blake and Nick did a fantastic job (at a very fair price) of renovating our ancient deck -- carefully inspecting the support structure and verifying that it is in excellent shape, replacing the railing with a beautiful, more modern railing (with hidden solar-powered lighting), refinishing the existing deck boards and outward facing support elements, buttressing support where needed, installing a gate, etc. I will repeat their names because they deserve it -- Blake and Nick are professional, friendly, highly skilled and very hard workers. If you get them for your project, you will be quite happy with the result. The supervisor and company owner, Nate, is expert and -- like Blake and Nick -- is a seasoned problem-solver. One of the attached pictures of the deck is through an open door -- Nate showed up to check on the project, became intrigued when I told him that door had been frozen for 22 years, and then somehow got it open in about 90 minutes! It has a FUHR triple-point mortise mechanism that is complex and very hard to find replacements for, so basically Nate saved a very nice door for us, just off the cuff. I want to mention my first appointment with Nate, where he came to price the job and evaluate other items on my to-do list. As we walked through the house, he spotted a number of things, gave me tips on how I could fix many of them myself, and then quoted a very reasonable price for the large deck project. Blake and Nick did similar things -- freely giving me tips concerning some home repair projects I am working on. These guys are very good at what they do! Blake will be coming again next week to do another project, and at that time I will tee up further work (replacing exterior lights, repairing exterior doors, etc.) with him or Nate. I certainly hope that Nick gets assigned to some of this future work as well! My name is Richard McCoy, I live in Wexford, and perhaps by now you get the idea that I recommend Ace Handyman, Blake, Nick and Nate very highly. P.s. a month later. . . . the deck continues to be fantastic. Meanwhile, since then Blake came out and: (1) cleaned and sealed the driveway and sidewalks; (2) replaced ten exterior light fixtures; (3) fixed the mailbox (new concrete footing, painted box and numbers, etc.); (4) fixed the lamp post (similar steps); and (5) set our 20-foot-high entry hall up for painting (erecting scaffolding, covering floors, carpets, stairs and railings with drop cloths, etc.). (And, as usual, Blake was very generous in giving tips on how to do certain projects I want to try.) Nick then came out and painted that entry hall -- trim and walls, including some very difficult trim work on a huge, very high window. And the result is that the entry hall looks fantastic -- a 100% professional, outstanding job. All of this work was done at very reasonable prices -- in fact, I did not even ask for a quote, because I have come to know that Nate (the owner) is honest and fair. Anyway, once again, Blake and Nick are great -- probably soon I will ask them to come back out and fix up all my doors and windows!

I have been looking for contractors who could do a bit of remodeling, be it accents walls or wainscoting or trim work. I had no luck until I googled about Ace Handyman. Nathan reached out and gave a very reasonable estimate and we easily agreed. Then Nick came in and did all the magic. Extremely cordial and flexible people with the right expertise. Mary has been very efficient with the scheduling. They did a wonderful job and we will soon hire them for more work. This work has definitely added a new feather to their hat.

Blake has been a huge help to us through two visits. He’s super prompt & extremely pleasant to work with! We will gladly work with Ace again. They were able to tackle jobs others in the industry have not wanted to address, such as the repair of a pocket door. It’s really nice to know we have someone reliable we can call the next time a small house project pops up.

Nick was wonderful, set up new TV and spent time to walk me through everything, then installed a large mirror perfectly. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also appreciated that he brought indoor shoes and took care to clean up. Ace Handyman has been an awesome resource.

We used Ace Handyman for the first time today. It was for a minor siding repair and an estimate for some drywall work. We were happy that a workman could come out just two days after we called for the quick repair. Liam was very professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. We appreciate the quick repair.
