Rob is such a great guy and super hard working. Great sense of humor too! He added stairs to our existing deck. His attention to detail is so appreciated. We highly recommend and will use for future projects!!

Rob came out to scope out the job of fixing up our old and hideous basement stairs. I didn’t really know how to fix the stairs — replace all the treads and risers? Install vinyl caps on top of the existing stairs? — so I wasn’t even sure what it was I was requesting, other than “make these stairs not look so terrible.” Rob recommended the vinyl caps. He told us exactly what to buy and how to prep/demo the existing stairs, and then he came out and gave our stairs a beautiful facelift! He also did some extra stuff that we hadn’t even thought about, like driving in some extra screws to get rid of some of the squeaking. He was efficient and friendly too. We will definitely hire Ace Handyman services for our next project.

Chris is courteous and very skilled. He fabricated and replaced very complex trim using PVC rather than wood (which had rotted). He did a fantastic job!

The job was to install a pre hung exterior door. Seemed straightforward but apparently not for our installation. I felt kind of bad for the older gentleman and had to help him with some of the lifting and positioning. I’m not sure if he was given proper instructions by Ace Handyman Services but he seemed a little confused about the job. I had to leave for work and my wife told me he took 6 hours to get the job done @ $120/ hour! Trash and service charge brought this up to $955. Seems excessive but the going rate. The trim board on the exterior side of door looked horrible like it had been installed by a amateur. It took me a hour plus of my time to make it look acceptable. We recently had a full sliding glass door installed by a single installer from Crew2 and it took him half the time and the workmanship was amazing. Another negative of Ace Handyman is they were all over me to pay immediately. Just a overall bad experience. Avoid them!

I was overly impressed with Chris. I had 3 very unique jobs and he accomplished all three. He was very knowledgeable, has great critical thinking skills and found solutions, he knows carpentry, patios, and construction. He went above and beyond. I will defiantly use this service again and request Chris specifically. Great service. Can’t thank you enough - being a single person who has no help, this service is amazing.
