Abraham arrived on time, repaired our front door problem and was very pleasant throughout the appointment. He seems to be very knowledgeable about several types of household issues and I will use Ace and request Abraham when needed again. Great experience!
I did NOT have a good experience dealing with this company.
I don't want to air all of my personal issues to the public but I am dealing with a hospice situation. The light in my kitchen went out and it wasn't the bulb, so an acquaintance of mine recommended this company.
I scheduled the first available appointment because of all of the things going on in my life right now. So they scheduled me for 8:30am, and I pushed all of my plans for later in the day.
They did not show up at the appointed time and I received no call or text saying they were going to be late. So I was working on my other issues, I walk back and pick up my phone from the living room and see that and hour and 5 minutes after the scheduled time I get a call from a Denice who didn't leave a message.
I didn't know who that was it could be a nurse or a sales call? As I was checking to see if they left a message I get a text stating the technician is on his way.
I texted back that this was the first communication that I have received in a little over an hour past our appointment. I asked, "Do we get a discount?" Mainly out of frustration and the fact that they are expensive, so I expected better communication with the customer. If I wanted this kind of service I would have gone with a different option.
Their response was immediate, we always have a window of an hour, please confirm that you want to move forward. Then texted back, I just stopped the technician.
I explained my frustration and told her what was going on and her response was... I called you and you didn't answer.
I moved my whole day for this and to have no customer service on top of this, just aggravated me, so I told her to keep my appointment cancelled because if this is how their company responds to their customers, I don't want to do business with them.
They responded, Sorry for the inconvenience. All I wanted was something to be taken off of my plate. I never make complaints, but I needed to make this one.
Couldn't ask for a better company to work with. Mary in the office was so nice. They always kept you in the loop on the status of the job and always on time. We will definitely be using them again.
Called out to adjust corner cabinets, after assurances from company they could. Tech could not adjust. While there had him caulk one bathtub and change one piece of trim. Charged over $ 200 when the purpose for the call was not resolved. First and last time using ACE Handyman.
ACE Handyman of Katy redid my shower stall floor. It was very unsafe and slippery before.
They also installed a safer attic ladder. The previous one fell on my head.
