ASH + GOLD

I made the leap to visit the newly opened Ash + Gold after seeing the gorgeous salon space all over Instagram and am so glad that I did. The space that Caroline and her team have created is a spotless & stylish oasis in the middle of Winooski. They offer trend-driven expertise to our area, which was in desperate need of exactly this. The lob that Caroline gave me back in January was so well done that it's growing out perfectly during COVID-19, but the number one thing I'm looking forward to (when it's safe!) is to get back to that pre-pandemic length and get my roots touched up by her.

I got my first cut as ASH + GOLD this week and I am still so happy with the results! Bri was super friendly and really captured what I was looking for. I have wavier/curlier hair so I often leave salons with a blowout or straight hair but Bri kept my personality and curls in mind when doing my cut and style. I LOVED the products she used (Cult + King curl jelly) - she even followed up with product pictures of what she used after my cut which was so thoughtful. I also splurged and got the Olapex treatment and it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Far and away the best salon experience of my life. I spent years looking for a place that would make me feel welcome, heard, relaxed, and yeah, stunning. I cannot say enough good things about the stylists at ASH + GOLD. Kaila & Caroline have both given me PHENOMENAL haircuts. Absolutely worth it!

The amazing and talented artists of Ash & Gold have created a stunning, peaceful, simply beautiful space to treat yourself and get the best hair cut of YOUR LIFE. They also use fabulous products with the most intoxicating scents (in recycled ocean plastic to boot!) I always leave Ash & Gold feeling renewed, stunning, and smelling extraordinary. I've converted all my friends to going to Cristine Selvidio - she is a genius, and especially talented at cutting curly hair!

Ash & Gold is such a beautiful space filled with artists who do their best to provide valuable services and who are present with clientele. The space is so open and clean with gorgeous details. The fresh flowers and the plants are an amazing bonus! Caroline the salon owner has such a big heart and is truly there for the community and connection. Love this place!
