Angie knew exactly what I wanted my hair to look like and was on point, efficient and a great communicator. I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

I went because I seen a good haircut on an individual with curly hair similar to mine. Was super hopeful that mine would come out good considering hers was great! I was definitely disappointed. Stylist was 15 mins late without an apology or reason. I wanted to keep length on top as much as I could but adding shape and shaving the bottom. From there (seeing that’s she’s “the only board certified expert”) I wanted to dye my hair purple. Fully knowing my hair is dark, as an expert I would expect she would know her products. I knew it wouldn’t come out as purple, yet still purple. I got charged $150 for zero color change and a cut I was less thrilled with. She was also really rude when it came to my biracial family. She stated she has black aunts who never let her do their hair. I don’t blame them. Save your money and go to Boston. Also realized she must of used thinning shears on my thick curly hair. I’m definitely NOT excited about the grow out process to come. Days later and still very upset about my hair .

I've never left a negetive review before but this was overall a very poor experience. Angela interrupted repeatedly and did not listen as I tried to describe what I wanted. The cut was choppy, too short, and mirrored some of the previous flaws I'd hoped to correct, making a bad cut worse. Only redeeming factor is that I learned - if communication is this challenged, don't go through with it. For now, I'll be wearing a hat.

I did not know how much your hands Angela could make my hair feel so good . I was astonished and glorified all at the same time because I have never had quite the experience before of how wholesome and good my hair felt. The setting of your studio is inviting and relaxing. I even found reading material for me on your coffee table. I can't believe I could ever feel so good about my hair before coming to you. Thank you Angela for your expertise and guidance.

Angela Kirk does a great job of making people look good. The shop is comfortable and inviting. She has a great personalty and, even though I don't have a lot to work with, didn't make me feel like I was wasting my money. Highly recommended for both women and men!!
