As a grown adult who went with my adult friends and with no children in our group I had a blast! It’s a sweet little rescue/petting zoo with a mix of freely roaming animals and ones in pens. It’s inexpensive and conveniently located. They also do specialty evening events for Halloween and Christmas. I would very much recommend.
Love the new location, so much more space for the animals much cleaner! We went for an Easter egg hunt and had such a great time. The staff was super friendly and all the animals were so fun to see.
A very nice place to take the kids. There are a couple of alligators, peacocks and peahens, lama’s, goats, sheep, alpacas, turtles, pigs, and other animals. Two adults and one child costs $15 and you get a tray of animal feed for everything except the alligators. The donkey prefers to eat fingers.
This location doesn’t have any shade so it’s better to go on cloudy days, the morning or evening.
The zoo is a half mile from the road. When you get there you might think you are in the wrong place. There’s a porta potty near the entrance.
This place is not a zoo, they rescue the animals here. They take amazing care of them and they ask for a donation of anything you can give to come see the animals. I’ve been coming to this rescue for almost 6 years. I used to go to their old location and now their new one is even better. They went through something terrible with the tornado that ripped through last year. The geese are hilarious, one in particular greets you at the front entrance and begs for treats. His name is Gus. All of the animals here are sweet as anything and the employees are highly knowledgeable about each animal. I’ve had employees explain things to me without me even asking. It takes a special kind of person to do what these people do. 💜💜💜🙌🏻
We decided to take a motorcycle ride and discovered this place. They have plenty of land, all food and water bowls full. A large variety of rescue animals. I brought carrots, Zucchini and squash with me and they allowed me to feed the donkey Dominick and the tortoise. 6 bucks per person and that's just to help with the care and expenses to run the place. Worth supporting !
Porta potty on site, hand was on site, feed to buy, 1 dollar per cup of dry food.
We enjoyed it. 😊
The owners are loyal and dedicated to the welfare of these rescues. God bless them ! 🙏
