We had a blast at the Christmas lights event! What a great event. It was free, but a coffee cost $4. I highly recommend it. Get there early or else you won’t find parking.

This was such a cool Zoo. It's just the right size for any age or size group. The zoo is not so big that it takes hours to view and it's easy to walk and use strollers and wheelchairs. The animals seemed happy and affectionate with each other and the public. I was surprised to see such a nice variety of animals in a beautiful setting.  There's a cafeteria and Italian ice truck in addition to vending and sitting areas throughout the zoo

A fun, family friendly zoo.  Not to big so that your'e completly worn out by the end of the day. Fair warning, it's mostly up- hill, so you will get a "calf work out" in.  Plenty of foreign and domestic animals to observe.  The "touch pool" was weird and fun. Got my reluctant nephew to feed and touch a sting ray.
Popular for Summer Camps on weekdays, so it got a little crowded in the afternoon.  Got there at opening and avoided the crowd. We skipped lunch at the popular meal time (had a snack from the back pack), and had no wait when we did go in for a bite and beer around 3 pm (the bar is upstairs Dads and Moms, buy and bring your food up to the terrace. No alcohol is served downstairs in the cafeteria).
Had a good time, and will go back.

Loads of animals and beautiful landscape throughout the whole zoo, the main thing why I prefer this place is because they have a few hands-on activities for the kids, they can touch the fish, feed the animals,  (there is also a horse back riding which was closed) and also a very nice park for the kids to play.

For the Christmas lights event, it was ok. Me and my family thought it was unorganized. People bumping into each other and super pack. They should've had arrows to one direction. The donation tent should've been inside, making sure everyone donated.

The Wildlife Conservation and Education Center

I recently visited the Wildlife Conservation and Education Center with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. As soon as we entered, my son was thrilled to see a wallaby up close. This wildlife center offers a unique opportunity for kids and adults alike to learn about and appreciate various animal species.

We encountered a diverse array of animals during our visit. From turtles and sloths to the adorable pigs, there was something for everyone to enjoy. As a snake enthusiast, I was particularly excited to see the impressive collection of snakes at the center. It's essential for people to get a closer look at these misunderstood creatures and learn to see them as friends.

The highlight of our visit was the bat exhibit. We saw several bat species, all of which were adorable. Surprisingly, bats can be very cute! We also had the chance to observe an alligator snapping turtle using its worm-like tongue to try to catch fish.Q

The Wildlife Conservation and Education Center plays a crucial role in promoting wildlife conservation and educating the public about the importance of protecting these animals. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their mission. I wholeheartedly support their efforts and look forward to visiting again soon.

Had my birthday party here for adults and had all my friends leave their kids at home..
It was an incredibly fun experience getting to interact with all the animals really brought joy to everyone.  Also Joe and his staff were extremely accommodating, we brought trays of food and also BYOB beer and wine, highly recommend this not just for kids but for adults too it really is a unique time and you get to see cool animals up close and personal you probably never would have otherwise.

I’ve lived in Garfield for 10 years, and never knew this was a place for the public. Until, I saw a post on social media about them hosting a Halloween event for the kids. My kids enjoyed this place so much, and talked about it for days after. They loved all the animals and the staff were very nice people. It’s disappointing that they have to find a new location. It’s disappointing to see the flow developers that have come into this city over the years and have made a lot of our community spaces an eye sore. I hope they find somewhere in Bergen county or close by so that we can continue to visit.

Go Mr. Joe! This review is 2weeks long overdue. What an amazing and educational experience. We will definitely be back for the experience again. We went for our sons birthday party and what a surprise the guest received. Definitely VIP treatment start to finish. Please go visit, you won't regret it!

Went here with my nephews last weekend. It was such a wonderful experience. You feel welcomed the second you walk in. The owner and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about all the animals. And it is obvious that these people love what they do and take amazing care of every creature there. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

Bergen County Zoo

We loved our time at the zoo. Our favorite was seeing the budgies 🐤and being in their habitat while they flew around us. We had fun riding the train to see the sights. The train ride line gets long but still worth it. Extremely affordable experience for a family of 4 especially if you are a Bergen County resident.

Great little zoo for very little ones. Buy a train ticket and ride that before you do the zoo, the train is well worth the $2.00. Gift shop was very quaint and not too overpriced. Lots of selections and they have a great range. The budgies were our favorite part. The birdies have so many colors and they looked super soft and cute. My 2yr old enjoyed walking around. Plenty of places to sit and eat lunch. Got there at 1030am and we left by 1140am. And this included the train ride. Parking was fine. Not really any selections for food so I suggest you pack some snacks. I got bit by a few mosquitoes but my hubs and kids didn't.
Residents tickets are only $4.00 and kids under 3 are free for the zoo. Kids under 1 are free for the train

I hosted my son’s birthday party at the Zoo and we loved it.

The staff is very helpful and attentive.
We purchased a package that provides access to the zoo, train, and carousel after the party.

We had an animal habit teaching time for all the kids and adults.

We loved it.

They provided coloring bags for the kids.

Prompt reply to any questions or concerns.

We brought our decor and organized everything within half an hour provided to us.

The rental period is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
No balloons are allow.

This is a cute place to take the kids to.  There's a train that rides around the park, which is always a lot of fun. The zoo has a variety of animals, but don't expect it to be like the Bronx zoo. I love that there is a carousel on the grounds as well. I only saw one food truck serving hot dogs and one ice cream truck, so you might want to keep that in mind if you're thinking of going.  There's a general store where you can get water, sodas and sovaneirs. The price to ride the train and to enter the zoo is $4.00 each for NJ residents.  I believe kids under 3 are free. You can't beat the price.

Small but clean zoo, nice place to get away for a few hours but limited amount of different animals,  if you want a large zoo visit the Bronx zoo.

Brevard Zoo

This is a nice Zoo. It may not be the largest in the area but it is still very good. The volunteer staff were very friendly and helpful. The Zoo has a good sellection of animals that seemed to have plenty of room to roam around and seemed to be well adjusted in their enclosures. This Zoo is a little more for younger children but adults will enjoy it too. There are sections were you can actually walk around with free roaming Kangaroos, Emus and birds. This is a great place to enjoy the Florida flora and fauna from around the World. We had a good time and will be coming back again in the future.

My visit to Brevard Zoo was a solid 5/5 adventure! The excitement of feeding giraffes lettuce and interacting with birds using nectar cups and popsicle sticks with seeds made the day unforgettable. The kangaroo walking exhibit was a unique thrill, reflecting the zoo's commitment to diverse and engaging experiences. What stood out even more was the zookeepers' exceptional knowledge and friendliness. They were always eager to share valuable information, enhancing the overall educational aspect of the visit. Make sure to bring a few quarters to feed the fish, turkeys, deer, etc!!

It’s a zoo that raises great animals. Every corner is well-detailed. The staff are very enthusiastic. They have designed the animals’ living environment and space in a scientific way. The animals look very relaxed and content.  Forced to operate and perform, but the animals seem happy to show themselves to tourists, friendly environment, happy animals.

Wow! We had a blast! Lots animals! Had a train! Kids loved the animals! Had plenty of areas to walk around and learn about the animals they had there. Staff was very friendly and helpful in anyway they could! Definitely making a visit again! The giraffes we’re a lot of fun to feed! A Place for all ages! Pricing seems reasonable for whatever you want to do! Get there early to get a good parking space. You can also use your card around the park which made it easy to participate in the activities. Splash area for kids too! Go check it out!!! Highly Recommended!

Such a beautiful little zoo. The habitats look enriching and the animals look healthy. I've been to a lot of zoos and this just may be the best one I've visited. You can feed giraffes for 2-5 bucks. Unheard of up north. You can walk around with kangaroos. Great experience.

Action Wildlife Foundation

Moderate size zoo that you can visit on foot or safari style. I have preferred to go on foot and spend more time observing animals in leisurely fashion. Most animals are of a farm kind from different parts of the world. They look well-cared for. Take time to visit the small museum. Overall, very positive experience and you don’t need to have kids with you as an excuse to visit this place.

This was our first time back since they changed owners. We were hesitant since admission prices went up so much ($15 adults, $13 kids over 3), but it's evident that they've repaired and maintained exhibits to a higher standard than the previous owners. There are many new animals on exhibit and it's easier to see them in their enclosures. The man we spoke to at the gate even said they're putting in a splash pad next year and redoing the drive thru safari. We can't wait to visit again!

A wonderful hidden gem in Connecticut. It’s a drive from most places but you can bring a picnic and make a morning of it.
The park is open limited hours- so make sure you check the website. It is seasonal and mostly open only on the weekends. The prices have gone up since we were last year several years ago. However what hasn’t?!
You pay at the gate. They take cards. You can buy a grain container. Definitely get one at least. After entering, you can walk or drive. You follow the path. There are plenty of activities for kids along the way- a large sand box, a petting zoo.

There is plenty to see and no rush. Take your time and plenty of photo opportunities.

There are several picnic areas to spread out and enjoy the beautiful, idyllic atmosphere.

There is a museum which is a “not to miss”. It is huge and has a large collection of animals that you can see up close. Rivals any of the large natural history museums and you get to see the animals up close. I was fascinated to learn that the animals were prepared by a taxidermist who lives right there in Torrington. Fabulous work. Pictures don’t do the museum justice. Definitely check it out.

There is artwork all over the park now- beautifully painted rocks all over. Very well done!

This is a wonderful hidden gem to spend a morning. It’s wonderful for kids of all ages. :)

Absolutely stunning wildlife park! This place is huge! The animal enclosures were amazing. There was so much for everyone to enjoy! Animals, feeding, water features, sandbox with vehicles, gorgeous museum, playground, walking/driving tour, and so much more! We visited with zebras, bison, goats, cows, horses, a water buffalo, a zonkey, and many many more! We went during construction playground and this added another element of fun! This place is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely worth the visit for all ages! Bring good walking shoes! My little kids were free! Highly recommend!

The Christmas in the country event is a total cash grab. We were there on Saturday and it was just depressing!!!

It costs $105 for four people with parking, another $10 if you want a photo with Santa and hot coco is $6.

Facilities are very dirty and there were hardly any activities. No crafts, no grinch and frankly the “rides” were in horrible condition. I would not let my kids ride them.

We felt really scammed and will never be back. What a mess of a business.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

I recently visited this zoo with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience! One of the highlights for my nephews was the fantastic jungle gym.
But the excitement didn’t stop there. We got the chance to meet some incredible live animals, including the charming Elmo the bird. The kids were mesmerized by Elmo’s colorful plumage and friendly personality. It was a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with such a fascinating creature.
Feeding the giraffes was another unforgettable moment. The kids were thrilled to hand-feed these gentle giants, and the experience left them with big smiles on their faces.
To add to the adventure, we took a boat ride around the zoo’s waterways, which offered a refreshing change of pace and allowed us to observe various wildlife in a more natural setting. And of course, learning about different types of monkeys was both fun and educational. The zoo’s knowledgeable staff provided interesting facts and stories about the monkeys, making it a great learning experience for the kids.
Overall, this zoo provided an amazing mix of entertainment and education for the whole family. We left with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for the animals It’s a must-visit for families looking for a day of fun and discovery!

We love the Zoo! Naples Zoo is no exception. So glad we came today when the weather was nice and cool. Lots of animals moving around more than usual. The orangutans are a beautiful and welcome addition to our zoo days. The two younger orangutans were very playful in front of the viewing window today and absolutely made our day. Thank you to all the wonderful zookeepers out to chat with and ask questions. We love learning all about the animals we come to see. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Small gem of a zoo, full of historically important flora as well as fauna. Excellent monkey and primate exhibit. Enjoyed the flow of the walk.
Small enough to bring younger children along for a good visit that was full of fun without the walking overtaxing them.

From the moment we entered the Naples Zoo, I knew we were in for a treat. I visited with my mom and my two-year-old daughter, and we all were thoroughly enchanted by our experience.

One of the most impressive aspects of the zoo was how clean and well-maintained all the animal enclosures were. It's evident that the staff at Naples Zoo takes great care in ensuring a healthy and happy environment for the animals.

The selection of animals was fantastic, offering a diverse range of species to admire. However, the true stars of our visit were the orangutans – a delightful family consisting of a mother, two daughters, and an adorable 3-year-old son. They were incredibly active and engaging, providing endless entertainment with their playful antics.

Another highlight of our visit was the unique boat ride. The journey around a small lake took us past islands inhabited by various monkeys and apes. It was a magical experience, feeling like we were exploring a distant jungle. The boat captain deserves a special mention for his friendliness and the wealth of information he shared, making the ride not just fun but also educational.

In conclusion, Naples Zoo is a must-visit destination. The combination of well-kept enclosures, a wide variety of animals, and unique experiences like the boat ride make it a perfect outing for family members of all ages. My daughter was mesmerized, my mom and I were impressed, and we're already planning our next visit!

What we loved most was how tropical this zoo was! The highlight for the kids was definitely being able to feed the giraffe! More hands on for kids with animals would be nice. For the price it’s a bit expensive for the size of the park. The playground was also a highlight at the end for the kids. We didn’t get to do the boat tour to see the monkeys which was a bummer. It was closed because of gusty winds.

Wellington Conservation Center

Can't recommend this place enough! A true hidden gem. I don't know of any other place you can go and pet animals like these without paying a ridiculous amount of money and all the proceeds go directly to the animals. You get a very knowledgeable and interesting tour from a private guide and get to feed and pet alot of the animals. So many different kinds as well. Love this place and it is a must see.

What a great experience. Other then the Florida heat. It was a great experience. I brought my 2 & 4 year old granddaughters and they loved it! The guide was excellent.
A must do if you Love animals.

Our experience could not have been any better! This place is amazing! It was honestly the best experience we've ever had with any animal! Such a friendly atmosphere with very knowledge staff to inform you about all the animals and their stories. You can get so up close to actually see these beautiful animals that are so well cared for. And you might even be able to see some of them have lunch! The grounds are so clean and so gorgeous. The staff is wonderful and so passionate about the animals. It is an experience you will never forget! My young kids are still talking about it! One of their faves were the Sloths.

The kids loved it. And love the fact that all the animals are rescues. And our guide was very informative and patient with the kids

Wonderful organization that hosts private tours to interact with animals up close & personal.  I absolutely love sloths and we got to feed the mommy sloth with her baby holding onto her.  Highly recommend this for an outing in Wellington...helping a good cause.

Animal EDventure Park & Safari

This was hands down an absolute amazing experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Was able too meet some amazing animals and hear firsthand how they were rescued. This is a cross between a rescue and sanctuary. Highlights included seeing and petting a kangaroo. For a slight charge you can hold a kangaroo Joey and this was the best part of this tour. Other animals included seeing a sloth, camels, otters, lemur monkeys etc. would highly recommended this tour and definitely would come again.

The place is fantastic. Much better than any zoo we've been to (Indy, Boston, internationals).

Our tour guide Alec did a great job to keep us amazed and engaged all the time.
The staff is also supporting the tour by giving us opportunities to pet some animals, and give food to the camels and other animals, improving our experience.

The animal stories are so good,  and give us hope that there are good people like the family that care for those rescued exotic and non exotic animals.

Our 6 yo raised his hand and ask questions many times, he felt safe to do so thanks to Alec's great job as a guide.

Con: I wish there was a hand washing station close to the exit. Lots of goat saliva in the form of love will be in your hands when you leave 😂.

What a great time had by all!! Vanessa was an awesome tour guide with strong knowledge about the animals as well as great jokes.

It would be advisable to bring a fan of some sort on a hot day, but they offer water and treats at a few points throughout the tour.

Lots of opportunities to interact with animals like a two-toed sloth, goats, camels, and kangaroos!! We payed for the otter encounter and each of us got to pet and hold the otter’s paws for great photo ops.

They also had great and spooky Halloween Decorations everywhere and the staff were all in costume, as well as a pumpkin patch, mini maze, and a corn kernel pit. Our 8-year-old got this trip for his birthday and was overjoyed with the whole experience.

We also got to meet the daughter of the family who runs this sanctuary and her Dad stopped by carrying the cutest little monkey.

We’ll definitely go back as we only live an hour away and highly recommend a visit!!!

My husband and I had a delightful trip here. You get to pet and feed animals throughout the 1 and a half hours that you are there. Our tour guide was amazing and knew a lot about all of the animals that she introduced us too. All of the staff was pleasant and happy. You can tell that they like what they do and who they work for. This is a family run farm. The animals were very well taken care of and happy. The farm was emaculate and decorated for the holidays. There was ample shade in all areas, so it made for a very pleasant day. We were able to pet and feed goats, sheep, cows, mules, and camels. We also pet and hung out with the kangaroos, and pet the otters and sloth.

This was worth the money. I would recommend this as a fun adventure for the little ones or even adults who want something new to do.

What a great visit!  So many fun experiences during our VIP behind the scenes tour.  The staff is really passionate about their work and the animals and they do a great job.  Our guide, Tori, was outstanding.  It's not cheap to have this experience, but it is worth every penny and you will remember your visit for the rest of your life.

Palm Beach Zoo

It was a great holiday event to share with a loved one or just take yourself. The lights are great. The music will make want to dance. A wonderful surprise.  We are so glad we went. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

This is our 2nd year of membership. We love this zoo. It has a nice assortment of animals and offers fun interactive packages with some of the more popular animals. There is plenty of tree cover so even in the middle of the summer, it's never too hot. All the employees and volunteers are always pleasant and willing to share each animals special story. It's a great family activity or simply a nice place to take a walk.

Took an amazing tour today at The Palm Beach Zoo. Brittany, Mike, & Amy were absolutely delightful. Their energy was unlike any other! You can tell how passionate they all are about the animals. They made us feel truly blessed. Incredibly thankful for their endless knowledge & their excitement. This is the best behind the scenes tour I have ever done anywhere. They took their time & answered all our questions. They got to know us & made us feel extra special. It was enchanting to meet you all! Thank you so much!!!

Zoo is always a fun day with the kids. Well mapped out with different sections of animals. All of the animals seem to be well taken care of and are easily visible. Always a fun event going on. Plenty of room to move even when crowded. Cool down mist spots available if you get hot. Also splash pad in the center as you enter for the children to play and parents to take a break. Daughter always asks to go back. Highly recommended!

I live close by and am here often. If you live nearby, a membership is TOTALLY worth it. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for a walk with friends or to bring the kids.

Kind of a rip. 80$ for my wife and kid for a corn maze and tractor tour around the farm. They charge for everything else.
