Blo Blow Dry Bar

I went to Blo Blow Dry Bar and I was placed with Dana. I have been looking for a person to work with my hair because it’s very curly and hard to work with. But the very first time I got with Dana she did an awesome job. I have yet to be disappointed. She’s done an excellent job with my hair every time. I highly recommend Dana.

I went to Blo for the first time and Dana did my hair, she was so fast and my hair was so beautiful!! i’ve been to many blow bars before but a friend of mine gifted me this appointment but I will be back!! this was the first time that I have gotten in and out so quickly considering I have such thick, curly hair . Natural hair girls please go see Dana you won’t regret it

Found this place back in November and have continued coming back! Place is clean, people are nice and I look great when I leave!

Pros:
- can buy a monthly membership with 2 blow outs included at a slightly lower rate.
- use good products on your hair
- can have your blow out done in under an hour
- are not heavy handed
- easy to book
- provide text confirmation and reminders of your appointment
- serve chocolate and champagne!!!

Cons:
- texting system has a couple flaws
- could potentially have to see different stylists (both the ones I've had though have been great but I know some people are funny about who they go to)
- if you're on the monthly plan, unused blow outs don't roll over

I love this place! I’ve been a member since February and it’s totally worth it! Dana is my favorite stylist. She makes my hair look amazing every time and the style lasts for days! Highly recommend!

I went in today as a last minute appointment. My stylist was Melissa and she was sooo wonderful. My hair was amazing and she was so incredibly knowledgeable to all things my hair needed.

Planet Fitness

Today I went with the intention of acquiring a membership, but I chose to only pay for the pass for one day and this due to the unpleasant attention that the girl at the reception who was there at 8 am gave me (I wanted to avoid thinking that I could be about racism) I am Mexican I asked him if he could show me the gym and he despotically said no, I can't let anyone see the gym (I don't know if this is the policy of this chain). My cell phone did not allow me to download the application to register to only pay for one day and in a rude tone he told me: when you come to the USA you must make all those changes, he told me many many things that this would become extensive. She was really willing to try my patience but I am an athlete and this sport teaches me discipline in many ways. and I really ended up thanking him for giving me such a bad deal. This happened at a branch in Little Rock Arkansas. Despite the bad weather, I enjoyed my training like a disciplined athlete, nothing stops us.

I am happy to update my review and say that makes me glad to see that this place a one of the few businesses left who care about their clients/customers/members needs and concerns.

GYM itself is great, there is a personal trainer in the morning that is always playing music on a loud handheld speaker that is so loud to overrides everyone’s headphones. I personally bring headphones so I can listen to what I want while exorcising exercising but his loud speaker always overrides my headphones and can’t enjoy my music. I don’t think anyone else is happy with this.

I enjoy exercising at this particular Planet Fitness for multiple reasons.  A few of those reasons are as follows:  those behind the desk always greet me with a smile whenever I enter; I have always found the facility, and the equipment, clean and in good condition; I am always able to move freely between machines without much of a wait; the bathroom is always clean.

Not busy very clean nice staff  clean showers bathrooms love this place

Broadway Centre Spa & Salon

A most excellent salon in a very well restored downtown Bismarck historical building.  The service was good from moment I walked in the door. They made me feel welcome and were very polite and asking if I wanted a beverage. My stylist took time to get to know my hair preference and she was very personable and professional. I like the results a lot. The only thing bad for me is I don't live in Bismarck ND and was traveling so may not get to return. Highly recommend this beauty salon. It's spacious, clean and they did a great job.

Communication was horrible. I’m not a spa girl but received a gift certificate for much needed self care. Tried to communicate I only had a certain dollar amount so I’m not trying to add anything extra. She says she will throw eyebrow tint in. That was not the case and I paid for it. Dermaplane was horrible SO many missed spots. She didn’t take her time or communicate any aftercare instructions. Was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. She was just there to upsell her horrible services. I expected a lil more but lesson learned and I will never take my business there. You should leave the spa feeling better NOT worse!!!!

Love it there. Ruth is a great stylist with a wonderful personality. They are very professional 👏 👌

Drybar - Fort Worth

Convenient way to get a wash, blow out and style for an event or more regularly. Prices were reasonable.
Everything is Drybar branded products and hair tools. Unfortunately my curls fell within the hour, but my hair still looked nice for the photos.

So I requested a cosmo style (defined curls) and they didn't even last an hour. Yes product was used. By the time I got home and did my makeup, the curls were basically gone! I also requested the curls start about cheekbone level...yeah, they missed the mark

The front desk were so rude, also they charge my little daughter same price for adult even they didn’t put any products in her hair and when I asked about the spray at the end, she tried 3 empty bottles. I called the manager , and she was rude as well.

I went this evening and had Megan as my stylist—she was awesome!!! Gave me a great wash and my hair looks beautiful!!! My hair also feels so soft and fresh, I loved my experience!

Never going to question where I need to go to get my hair done ever again. My lovely gal Jackelyn C. really did an amazing job and I couldn’t be any happier! I mean just look at the photo, her work speaks for itself!! 10/10 the salon vibes are also pretty immaculate!

The Skin & Body Co. Brazilian Waxing

Kristie is such a great esthetician - and beyond her waxing skills, also is so great at making you feel relaxed and unbothered even with the pain. I have pretty sensitive skin, and general jumpiness with waxing, but she does a fantastic job with making the situation as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend for people who are nervous or new to waxing!

The shop itself is also completely lovely -- sleek and clean and quiet, and very professionally decorated and appointed. Look forward (as much as one can) to returning!

This was the best experience I’ve had with waxing! Not only did I walk in to a warm greeting, the studio was so clean and the environment was welcoming. My brow artist Miliah was amazing! She was so sweet and my brows came out perfect, I will definitely be going back.

I give this place a 10 out of 10! HIGHLY recommend!! My esthetician Miliah is one of the sweetest people out there! She will take care of you above and beyond what you would expect from a regular visit! I always look forward to going because she is so gentle, patient, and understanding! I've never felt more comfortable in what can be a quite vulnerable situation (Brazilian waxing, etc)! If you are a first-timer she will make you feel like you've gone there for years!! I had been seeing Kristie for months at her old job and was happy to find out she has her own place now. Never thought I’d have a painless waxing experience, but she’s the best! Always so professional and easy to have a conversation with. Not only will she make you feel comfortable, her room is very clean & she definitely uses the best products out there. Fit For Life Bootcamp, Inc.

Connie runs this place and it really is a boot camp! What a workout packed into a half hour three days a week! The main workout is Kettlebell (it's surprisingly easy to learn and it's such a full body workout, it surprised me after the first session how many muscles I had and didn't realize.) Fit for Life Bootcamp also offers spin class with fancy bikes that you can ride along with visuals and an app. There's a ton of equipment on this gym and a lot of opportunity to make this part of your fitness routine.

An awesome place for a workout the instructor keeps you busy and going. Well worth your membership.
Always clean and tidy.

Drybar - Dallas - Uptown

Went in for glamorous waves. 2 hours later I left looking like a joke version of Shirley temple. Green haired stylist said the style was difficult for her and blamed it on the length of my hair. They didn’t charge me because it was clearly awful. Never again.

I was seated promptly. My original stylist could not do my hair and had to switch with someone even though I have curly hair listed. I’m glad she changed because in the end I had a great stylist.

I’m a lawyer and get my hair done at least once a week because I need my hair to look good constantly. - so im not writing a bad review for no reason. The only reason I went to DryBar today is because my usual hairdresser is closed on Friday evening (and who is pricier than DryBar) was closed that afternoon. Trust me when I say this was the worse blow out I’ve even gotten in my life - I would have gotten the same result had I done it MYSELF. I have fine hair but a LOT of hair. Not only did my technician not know how to correctly wash my hair (she was only scrapping the top of my hair!!) but my hair was frizzy and I had to literally tell her how to do her job! My legs literally started shaking as I needed my hair correctly done that night and my hair looked the worst it ever had - just like I had got into a rainstorm. I got furious and my face got red when I saw how my hair looked and literally asked to have another technician finish my hair. Well, the second one wasn’t even better. Please read carefully the other reviews because they’re right! Avoid this place! They’ll also give you a side eye when you leave if you complained (which you should have someone gives you a terrible service!!)

I called and was fortunate to get a same day appointment. My stylist was Subrina and she was AMAZING. She was so friendly and did a fabulous job on my hair and I will book again with her.

I had an amazing experience at this Drybar location. I have thick and curly and unruly hair AND three rows of extensions - my head is NOT an easy job which is why I am sometimes reluctant to schedule blowouts. From the very beginning, I felt extremely comfortable in Celest’s chair. She transformed my wild hair into a tame, smooth, beautiful masterpiece in just one hour. She was kind, professional, and definitely knows what she’s doing behind the chair. I will absolutely return to this location and am considering getting the monthly membership, as my experience was that good.

BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center

I just finished with an Aquatic class this morning, and the womens locker room was absolutely filthy. I'm not sure if they  don't have someone checking those locker rooms on a regular basis, but this is not acceptable.

We've been here a couple times for swim meets, and it is a beautiful and clean facility for those events. Ample seating on the bleachers, and you can bring your own chair if you prefer to sit underneath the bleachers to remove yourself from the noise for a second. It does get loud when everyone is cheering on their swimmers.

There is a wellness center/gym on site as well as a nutritional shake business.

Overall a very nice facility.

First time taking my kids to swim and  There were swimming classes going on at the same time Which is fine there's enough room in the pool, Unfortunately you can tell by the facial expressions and the unkind and unfriendliness of the Lifeguards a few must have had a long day or have been going through something  They seemed highly stressed out, The pool ended at 7:30  We were advised to exit the pool which we Did and 2 of my children followed behind me age 7 and  9 where last to exit , "they where exiting" not once did they   Decide not to or fool around or do anything other than exit! Yet this lifeguard made it her "mission" to yell and scream at them repetitively obnoxiously to the point where my son who has autism with sensory issues was fearful and went into a an emotional state upon leaving in our van I kept calm and got my children quickly out if there , we will not be back I will not  Subject my children to someone like that ever again..... I pray when or if u read this you find it in your heart to remember your true meaning of the job you serve in our community and for all children while working with kids and community in keeping everyone safe.....

Uncomfortable bleacher seating and hot temps in stands.  Playland and epic nutrition were pluses.  Short course state swimming pool is awkwardly positioned to the right of bleachers which provides negative viewing experiences.

Hotworx Bismarck is hands down the best gym in Bismarck. The state-of-the-art facilities and the friendly staff make it a top-notch fitness destination. I highly recommend Hotworx Bismarck to anyone looking for a fantastic gym experience.

For the first time in my life I love working out! The staff and members are friendly and encouraging. I’ve never been more comfortable in a gym environment! The benefits of the infrared sauna on my knees and joints has been incredible and the difference I notice in how my clothes fit and the added core strength and balance has been great!

I have been going to Hotworx for the almost 4 month and my results are life changing.  My energy level, strength and stamina has increased, my over all sleep has improved, I've seen  a reduction in hot flashes and overall I feel amazing.    For the first time in my life I feel comfortable going to the "gym".   The 24 hour access, the capability to book your own workouts and track calories in the App, and variety of workouts offered just makes working out easy!  The staff is AMAZING and alway smiling, the facility is is clean and overall this great place to Earn the Burn!

I absolutely love HOTWORX! 🔥I have never been as motivated or as excited to work out as I am with this gym. I love the staff. Happy that I  have seen positive changes in my body in last 4 weeks. I have more energy and sleep better. My family has  even noticed my waist getting smaller!!! Yeah 😊 Its great that the gym is open 24 hours so it can work for everyone. 💚💚💚

I have been attending HOTWORX for only a short amount of time, but my results have been life changing! I am excited to workout again, I have energy, and  my skin is feeling amazing. The workouts are quick and fun, and it never feels crowded. I highly recommend!!
