Billings YMCA

My wife and I decided to check out the Billings YMCA to see what they had to offer. A staff member offered and gave a tour of the facility plus talked about all the different programs offered.  By the end of our tour, we knew this was the place for us to get and stay healthy.  So we signed up immediately.  Within a couple of days, another staff member reached out to us and asked if we had any questions and encouraged us to contact her.   We called her,  set up an appointment, and received a more detailed tour and description of the programs that would meet our needs based upon our specific individual goals we shared with her.  The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.  We're really excited to begin a new healthy adventure with the Billings YMCA!

I am a Physician's Associate/Assistant student rotating through Billings for 6 weeks.  I am living out of a camper and trying to live on a budget.  They waived the join fee saving me some $$$.  The facilities are excellent and make my life living in the camper much more comfortable.

I love my local YMCA! The staff are always so kind and the classes are amazing. The facilities are clean and renovated. I’ve been coming my whole life and I still love it!

Swapped bank cards right around the time they bill accounts. Didn't have an active card on the day payments go through and they tried to charge me extra to continue using their service.

British Swim School at LA Fitness - Avon

Avon British Swim School has been wonderful! My kids love it. They make the registration and make-up class process so easy. Great customer service!!

We love our instructor! We started our child out at 4 months old and by week 3 he is already comfortable going under up to his eyes!

We really appreciate the fact that our son is being taught different swim strokes with very specific instruction on how to move his arms, how to kick, how to breathe, etc. We have enrolled him in lessons previously where they just put the kids in the water and told them to swim from here to there without ever giving any specific instruction on exactly how to do it. The British Swim School class is very small, so he gets a great deal of personal one-on-one attention, and his instructor keeps him focused and on task while still making it fun. He adores working with her and has already learned and improved so much in just a few short months - far more than he learned or improved in other lessons we had enrolled him in locally. We are so happy we switched to lessons with British Swim School and definitely recommend it!

Best swim program. They have a great focus on survival while still teaching swim.

Kid Kountry Child Development Center

Its not great for a working parent or a child who may have individual needs. It's not open 6 to 6. I work until 530 and arrive 545 to 550. Told I will be charged for this. Felt that instead of being able to discuss this with them they avoided eye contact the next day, had the 30 day withdrawal notice already pulled, and sat at the desk and had a very public seemingly confrontational experience with me, which is hard as a parent trying to figure out work with childs needs.
If your child has regular therapies you have to call every day or they will take the spot even though you're full time. You cannot pick up and return.
The children do not advance to another room until potty trained. When asked why they were going through so many pull ups a teacher told me he hadn't been potty training as he doesn't ask to pee ( he has a speech delay).
The only communication out is the sole check in computer in which there is often a line of parents behind you waiting for you to finish. There doesn't seem to be any loop of communication in and often even at pick up when asked about my child's day the teacher says they do not know, they were only there a few hours.
For several weeks at a time all the kids would do projects and my son would have none. When asking why (not accusing) nobody knew and many times was told it was drying but I'd never see it. Was told they cannot force him- young children are learning and I just expected more encouragement some teaching for him.

My kid went to kid Country for about 2 years and we loved it! The staff was always friendly and my son quickly adjusted to the new environment and grew to love going to daycare/preschool. Any concerns were promptly addressed and I felt like the staff truly cared about my son. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for childcare or preschool!

We moved to Billings over the summer and needed to enroll our children in daycare quickly. From the initial tour to enrollment, the Kid Kountry Team made the process easy/painless. We have a three- and five-year-old who LOVE it. The Director Team is always welcoming, greeting all of the kids (and parents!) by name. The teachers have been fantastic, engaging the kids in fun learning activities and caring about their wellbeing. My son is now in Kindergarten and he gets picked up by Kid Kountry every day after school. Most days, he thinks I pick him up too early as he is having a blast coloring/crafting or playing on their playground.

Management micromanages each other, they pnlt give a .25 cent raise every year, they have ants, there is constant bickering from all ends of the workers. Kids get mainly frozen (yes served frozen) fruit for lunches, if the kids has a accident and doesn't have extra cloths, they'll stay in those cloths till someone comes with cloths or to get the kid. Just think if you really want that, last time that happened the child waited almost three hours, she no longer goes there and I don't blame the mom. Especially since they have extra cloths they could have put her in. Child nepotism happens constantly with management's children, so of you treat their kids equal get prepared to get in trouble. Sadly there is only five good workers and sadly those five can't run the entire building themselves.

I am happy with my son in this daycare. They also offer a very amazing summer program which makes it nice to transfer from the school year to summer. The staff is kind and respectful and I appreciate all they do for the kids. My son has expressed he is happy being here and has met some really great friends.

Kiddie Academy of Holliday Farms-Zionsville

British Swim School at Fairfield Inn & Suites – Austin-Parmer-Tech Ridge

I really enjoy working here! The kids are always great to work with and although this is one of the smaller locations it’s always fun to come and be able to teach as many classes as we can. The management is always on top of everything and willing to help out as much as possible which makes the experience even better and more beneficial. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area and needing to learn to swim!

We had a great few years with British Swim and unfortunately are only leaving because we’ve moved. I’ve seen a huge improvement with my children. My daughter went from screaming on the edge to allllmost perfecting her freestyle. Keith in the office always picks up on the first ring, and is super friendly and easy to schedule makeups with. The owners also are frequently at the pool and are easy to get a hold of and chat too. We’ve had numerous teachers in our years there but Shelby stood out as being on top of things and really pinpointing what the kids need to work on. We’re moving to the Cedar Park location and I hope they’re just as good.

I had very bad experience with this location. They said they do make up classes but don’t have much option on other schedules other than the session I was attending.No refund for makeup classes as well neither they wanted to work out with make up schedules. pool is really dirty , very small and six people swimming at one session. Always bumping into others in pool since too many people in small pool. I wound not recommend this location at all.

I had bad experience with this company, because they suspend classes with short notice and too frequently. Make up classes have and expiration date and not enough classes available. If feels like more classes get cancelled then they are teaching.

British Swim School of The Stratford

Nathan and Rayln at the Stratford location were awesome, and our girls learned so much! Thank you for your time and patience in teaching our kids to save themselves if they ever fall into water along with teaching them to swim!

Kiddie Academy of Carmel Westfield

My wife and I have had such positive experience with Kiddie Academy of Carmel Westfield.  Our kiddo receives top-notch infant care. As a parent, nothing is more important to me than the well-being and happiness of our kiddo, and Kiddie Academy has exceeded our expectations.  The teachers take the time to understand and cater to the unique needs of every infant. We also get regular updates, and there are open communication channels to ensure we are looped in.  We feel good about dropping off our child every day.

Erica and Anise are amazing directors that truly care about the kids they work with daily. My son started here in early October with a definite speech delay and since starting I can tell a difference in his speech and language. He is speaking full sentences now! I am so happy we started here.

My husband and I took a lot of time researching and touring daycares while I was pregnant with our first child. Kiddie Academy checked all the boxes - proximity, cleanliness, kind teachers, and great curriculum. Since she started in the fall of 2022, we have overall been happy with our decision.

Our daughter started when she was 3 months and was a crier. While it was tough for us to drop her off, we knew she was in great hands. The teachers took the time to get to know her and figure out what would calm her and make her happy - there would even be days the director would take time out of her day to walk around with her. As she has gotten older and moved up classrooms, I still feel like she (and her classmates) get this type of individualized attention.

I cannot say enough about the teachers. They work incredibly hard. They are kind and makes each child in their room feel special. Our daughter still gets a huge smile on her face when she sees her teachers from previous rooms. The teachers do a great job engaging the children. They do a variety of fun activities each week while also instilling new skills. My daughter especially loves going outside and listening to music in the classroom.

While this facility has faced its challenges with staffing and high turnover (which is common in the industry right now), the current leadership is turning it around and has made it a stable facility again. They are hiring people who care and who can handle the job. Trusting anyone that is not you  with your child is really difficult, however, the teachers here are really special, especially if you take the time to get to know them.

This is by far the best daycare my child, nephews and nieces have attended, they love to go to school each and everyday. The activities the teachers do at the school is absolutely outstanding. They have been learned so much.
They have such a great staff, I noticed it has been challenging for this industry, they changed the directors and staff, but they are genuinely interested in wellbeing of our kids. I love the director Ms. Erica, Thank you so much for everything Kiddie Academy.

My son attended Ms.Catherine’s class. My husband and I were ASTONISHED with what he had learned. He would come home everyday with something new. The facility is still fairly new and clean. The director is easy to talk to  and understanding. Highly, highly recommend !

The Learning Experience - Westfield

The director at this school is phenomenal. She has such a loving heart, and beautiful soul. She cares tremendously about the children, parents, and staff. She’s there for anyone if they need her. She’s educated, professional, and personable. Your children will be well taken care of and safe. There is honestly nobody better than Julie to run a school. She’s one of a kind. I highly recommend this center if you, or someone you know, is in need of childcare.

I have worked for the director of this school before and by far Julie is one of a kind! It’s obvious she LOVES what she does! She cares for the kids, families and the teaches and it shows. I would  highly recommend anyone in need of childcare consider this school.

Julie is THE BEST!! I worked for her for a number of years and she was the best director I have ever worked under. She truly cares about her employees and the children and puts 100% into everything she does! She is the kind of person who literally radiates joy and you can tell she loves what she does! I would work for her again in a second!

The director here is amazing! She is kind and empathetic. She puts the needs of families and employees first. She is passionate about education, safety, and creating a positive environment for all. Families love her and she supports her teachers so they can focus on the classroom.

We love everything about Goddard school! The teachers and staff are so kind and create such a great community. There's a good sense of security and safety. The kids just learn so much there all while having fun. It's just all around great!

From the owner, to the office staff, to every single daycare teacher at Goddard, they ALL know my child and care about her. My daughter feels welcomed in her classroom, has made real friendships, and is in an environment where she learns new things and thrives. She can genuinely be herself, and is learning discipline from someone other than mom & dad. Summers are also packed full of fun and cannot wait to see her grow next year at Goddard.

So many great things about this school! My child loves it. The teachers and staff are amazing and genuinely care about each child.

My daughter has been a student at Goddard for the past 5 months and we could not be happier with the school. The teachers and administrative staff are phenomenal. They all go out of their way to make the students feel welcome and safe. We chose Goddard after a tour of the facilities and a meeting with the owner. The school has a fantastic approach to early education while also providing a very nurturing atmosphere for the kids. As a parent, the teachers and administrative staff always take the time to answer any and all questions I have. The class sizes are small and I am always confident that my daughter is getting enough attention and care. The school takes safety and security very seriously which helps put my mind at ease. I also love that I get photos throughout the day and a Daily Report each day telling me what my daughter ate that day, what activities she engaged in, and what skills they are trying to focus on and develop. I can't say enough good things about this school! My family is so grateful to have found Goddard and for the teachers and staff!

Our 2 year old daughter has been at Goddard for about 5 months now. We have been very pleased with the experience so far. She enjoys and looks forward to going to school in the morning. The staff is very friendly, they communicate well and respond quickly to feedback. I feel better about the security at this school as usually the director or assistant director have to buzz you in, so staff is always present at the entrance. Also, the level of activity and organization of the activity is really impressive. I really like the special activities, such as when they have guests like firefighters, farmers and some animals, water days, musical guests and more. I really feel as if my daughter is getting a diverse experience. Finally, the digital communication and pictures throughout the day of our daughter is really enjoyable as well.
