I love Anytime fitness. It is super clean. Like spotless clean. The staff is very friendly. It also has a pretty workout view. The variety of equipment is immense. I never have to wait for a machine or  piece of equipment. Also the machines are always in tip top shape!

What I love about the Gym, is the quality people that run it and take great care of it. The equipment is top notch, I love that it is clean and always open, they are always updating and getting new equipment. It’s the best gym around hand down! They always exceed my expectations!

The Sandwich location is definitely the place to work out. I travel past the closest Anytime and workout at the Sandwich location. Great selection of equipment and adequate space to work out. The staff is on top of cleaning and making sure the gym is looking good!! The staff is friendly and so are many of the other members.

The entire StretchLab franchise explicitly values the success of their business more than the betterment of their clients, and they don't try to hide it. The StretchLab philosophy is one of nocebic dependency akin to an old school Chiropractor. You can expect to have your normal biomechanical variance pathologized into a problem it simply isn't by underqualified "Flexologists" using unreliable techniques to gather meaningless data. Expect to be sold membership packages over individual sessions by money hungry snake oil salesman at the front desk, convinced that stretch therapy is a strong mediating factor of pain reduction by individuals who likely don't have the education required to make such claims, and surrounded by mentally malleable geriatric individuals without the wherewithal to make intelligent decisions regarding their own health. You don't need to be a board recognized medical professional to know it isn't necessary to be stretched for 50 minutes, every week. Not only will StretchLab do their best to convince you of this lie, but they believe their service unlocks a level of pain reduction and improved athletic performance which could not be achieved without them. StretchLab does a remarkable job turning the historically non-invasive modality of PNF stretching into a profit oriented, nocebo inducing experience.

I joined the Stretch Lab about 3 months ago, due to sever sciatica issues. Hannah was my flexoligist and she did an awesome job recommending “homework” to encourage my healing.
I went for 50 minutes each week and within a week, I felt much better. She continued to help me and stretch me until I no longer had pain!
Hannah is very knowledgeable about the muscles and very helpful, always asking if I needed more or less of a stretch.
If you or anyone in your family is wondering if this type of stretching could help them, I would absolutely recommend High Desert Stretch Lab. All of the Flexologists are very skilled and willing to help!

I loved this experience so much!!! I had sciatica pain ..It was excruciating!!! I couldn't even walk.. and in a short period of time it was totally gone... Everyone there is so kind and sympathetic,, not to mention the fact that they know exactly how to fix probably anything!!!!I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

StretchLab is great, especially Adri at their High Desert location on Academy in Albuquerque. I’m 62 and in pretty good shape. I jog, stretch, and do weight training, which created some tightness in my legs and hips which could have messed up a vacation to Japan. So about 2 weeks before the trip I started working with Adri to make sure I had the necessary mobility for it.

She started off slowly to find out what I needed and determine what I could handle and sent me home with some daily stretches. Very quickly she progressed to more advanced stretches and more challenging “homework” which did wonders for me. After just 6 visits I was moving more easily, experiencing less pain, and had a set of stretches that made sure I continued improving.

My plan was to get into StretchLab about a month before the trip, but of course I got busy and started late. So, Adri could easily have said it was too late but she didn’t. She took on the challenge and cheerfully helped me make some pretty ambitious goals. And it was fun! I highly recommend StretchLab and Adri.

Be patient with the admin staff, though, as the StretchLab computer system seems to be hard to work with. And even though the computer was cranky, everybody was great and I was able to get the appointments I needed.

Gym X Fitness Center & X Nutrition

Located in the former Elite Fitness building. The location, price, and equipment setup is about the same as the former gym. Staff was great and it was hassle free in resetting up my old account. Basic membership includes 24 hour access, classes, and tanning beds for about $44 a month. Mostly empty between 1-5pm

Best gym in town. They have tanning beds, tons of equipment, and fitness classes that are free to all members. You can get shakes, teas, and supplements during their manned hours. Very friendly people, and they keep the gym clean.

Good facility. Giid value for being 24 hours. Equipment needs some fixin.

Burn Boot Camp

By far the best gym that I've ever been to. I highly recommend it. I enjoy working out at Burn Boot Camp, they offers a very effective and varied workouts. Regularly showing up at Burn will help strengthen all the muscle groups in your body along with losing a lot of calories. I have been going to Burn for the past 7 months and seeing amazing results.
Trainers (Eric, Kamari, Jen and Morgan) at Albuquerque location are amazing, motivating, very energetic, gives one on one training. All the trainers helps me with the form and pushes just enough to be my best self.
Another perk is free and amazing childcare, Jellie is awesome. My son looks forward to going there every single day.
I would like to congratulate owners Eric and Anna for creating a very positive, welcoming and encouraging environment. Keep up the good work !!

I started going to burn because I was tired of going to the gym and feeling intimidated and overwhelmed by all the different machines. I never really knew how to properly lift weights and always worried that I might develop bad forms and get injured.

After years of going to typical gyms, I began lacking motivation and struggled with pushing myself doing the same old "Gym Bro" routines. After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is think about which muscle group I should work, number of sets, reps, etc. With Burn Boot Camp, the workouts are always planned out for you, and all you really have to do is show up. The workouts are tough, and the best part is that they are only 45 minutes long. The trainers motivate you and help you push yourself beyond your limits. They also have child care, and they offer one on one focus meetings to help you reach your goals faster! My wife and I really enjoy working out in a group setting surrounded by like-minded individuals. I know how intimidating gyms can be, but at Burn Boot Camp, everyone is super friendly and helpful! My very first day I was hooked. The trainers are absolutely fantastic. They push you and are extremely encouraging. The community here at burn Albuquerque is phenomenal and I have met some great people! The workouts are challenging but fun and in a short amount of time you can feel the change within our own body. Highly recommend if you are looking to challenge yourself and have fun doing it!

Love the staff, trainers, and child watch. I'm very picky about my workouts and burn checked all my boxes. I used to work out in a gym, but I got bored and wanted to change it up. At first I was a little intimidated trying something new, but they bent over backwards to make sure I felt welcome.

Club Pilates

I would advise against joining Club Pilates as it appears to be a scam aimed at taking advantage of people. I was a member for almost 9 months and experienced several issues. In addition to the monthly membership fee, they charged me twice $10 and once $15 for canceling my class. When my family came down with the flu (common cold) on the morning of my Pilates class, I called to inform them. They assured me it was no problem but later billed me anyway. When I called to dispute the charge, the person I spoke with was incredibly rude and demanded medical evidence for a refund.

A few months prior, I canceled a class 11 hours in advance and texted them to let them know my child was sick. However, they still charged me $10. It took me a week to get a refund after showing them documentation of my child's emergency visit. Looking back, I should have canceled my membership then and there.

As a full-time student and employee with a child and no other support, I found it disappointing that a women-owned business showed no sympathy. I recommend joining a yoga class instead, which provides exercise and mindfulness at a price without extra charges. Please be cautious as I feel that Club Pilates takes advantage of others and has no understanding that life happens

I absolutely love Club Pilates! I look forward to attending each and every class. The instructors are amazing and extremely helpful! Since joining I feel so much stronger and more flexible. Club Pilates has made working out fun again.

I recently signed up for the top tier membership at Club Pilates with high hopes of enjoying a consistent and fulfilling workout routine. However, my experience with the club has been far from satisfactory. While there are a few positive aspects, the overall service and policies have left me disappointed and frustrated.

One of the major issues I encountered was the significant delay in scheduling my first workout. It took nearly two weeks for me to secure a session due to a backlog of appointments. This delay caused me to lose out on valuable workout time during my first billing cycle, which was disheartening.

Another point of contention was their cancellation policy. Club Pilates has a strict 12-hour cancellation rule, which requires members to pay a fee if they cancel within that timeframe. However, on several occasions, I received notifications of class availability with less than 12 hours notice, sometimes as little as 6 to 10 hours. This made it nearly impossible for me to adjust my schedule accordingly and avoid the cancellation fee. In one instance, I received notice at 9:08 p.m. for a class starting at 8:00 a.m., I was in bed during the notification leaving me unable to attend but still being charged for the cancellation.

Adding to my frustration, the club's communication was lacking. Despite their classes starting as early as 5:30 a.m., I was only able to reach a live person through their customer service line at 7:00 a.m., after leaving a message earlier that morning. The delay in response time and the inability to resolve the issue promptly left me feeling unheard and frustrated.

Given the one-sided nature of their policies and the unsatisfactory communication, I made the decision to request a full refund and cancel all my future classes. It's disheartening to have to discontinue my membership, especially considering that there were a few great trainers at the club. However, I cannot support an organization that fails to prioritize the needs and concerns of its members.

If you're considering Pilates as a fitness option, I would recommend exploring alternative studios or clubs that offer a more reliable and member-friendly experience. While Club Pilates may have some positive aspects, the overall lack of organization and customer-centric policies make it difficult to justify continuing my membership.

I love this place! I did a free intro advertised on Facebook and fell in love. The staff are super sweet and attentive! I’m really shaky after coming back around from a health scare and they offered me a juice box and a seat so I could gather myself. In the process of signing up, I had some financial issues the patience everyone I worked with had was amazing. I did my first full class last week and am hopeful I can move up the waitlist this week too. I really like Linn (sorry if I spelled wrong), she has a lovely voice and is so easy to learn from. All of the ladies at the front desk are kind and warm and willing to help. Shoutout to my new favorite place to go! Yes it’s a little pricey but all self care can be in a way.

First time to take Pilates ever and I really enjoyed it.  The instructor was great.  The front desk attendant was very knowledgeable and helpful.  Studio was clean and beautiful.  I joined after first intro class.

NuMale Medical Center

NuMale's weight loss program is the BOMB! It really works and worth every penny!!! I have already lost 31 lbs. Consider all the health benefits, more than worth it! I recommend them.

Went in for consult. Same as other offices. But then started dealing with Tod. WOW! Great patient intake review. Very thorough with review. Talked about everything and processes. Took the time to explain everything even answered a question I was thinking.  Not sure about the other low star reviews but my experience was excellent.

This place is amazing! From the time you walk in and are cheerfully greeted by Melissa and Nicole and are taken back very quickly. And then you are greeted by either Abraham or Tim you feel at ease, because no mater who you are talking to especially Jacob or Todd you are able to ask any questions that you may have and you will get clear and concise answers along with additional information to help you. This is definitely not a quick fix but a lifelong solution for better, healthier, happier, and more energetic living. This is my second year and being in Law Enforcement  I definitely feel stronger, more focused and have more energy. I also  have referred friends and my fellow Officers to Nu Male.

I would like to say that Tod my provider and Jake my coordinator did an excellent job of advising me of all my options. They are very knowledgeable in their field. I love the gym and also work hard, but as I get older I was seeking that extra boost. I would like to say that their staff was very professional and attentive. I am new to the program and so far so good. I will repost at a later date to elaborate on my overall results.

Paid 2500 to get on trt then had to do labe work...took off of work early went to get my lab work done there and the tech loses my blood sample. Then lies to me about Quest being open on weekends....

Barre3

Barre3 Abq is such a safe haven and wonderful studio! I have had some back pain over the years and going to classes here, I am fully respected (and even encouraged) to modify each movement so it’s best for my body!
You cannot go wrong with any instructor on their schedule.
Plus the overall atmosphere is welcoming, warm and inclusive!! If you haven’t checked out this space yet, you should!

Each of the classes I've taken have been wonderful. Great mix of cardio and strength training, and it's fun! The instructors are kind and warm and do an excellent job throughout class of explaining what to do and how to make adjustments as needed.

One of the best exercise experiences I have ever had. I have never felt intimidated by my lack of fitness. The amazing instructors offer so many modifications for each move. The community is caring and supportive, making everyone feel welcome. I look forward to going to each barre3 class.

This is more than just a workout, it’s a warm community of like minded individuals supporting each other. The instructors are amazing, able to modify all exercises. Accessible to anyone no matter what their fitness level. 100% recommended!

When I signed up for Barre3 I was just looking for a class to help get and keep me in shape but over the past year it’s provided so much more than I ever expected. It’s something in my day I do just for me, it helps relaxes me and allows me to let go of my day, my confidence has increased in myself and my capabilities, and most of all I have met amazing new friends and feel part of a community that make me smile when I walk through the door. Last but definitely not least ALL of the instructors are beyond awesome and each carry their unique spin on class. They help to challenge and support us both individually and as a whole together. BODYLANGUAGE Albuquerque

I have honestly tried almost all fitness and yoga studios in Albuquerque and can say without a doubt that Bodylanguage is exceptional -- and almost seven years later I wouldn't go anywhere else. Monica and her team are passionate, devoted, creative instructors who work with each participant to adjust to your individual needs while ensuring a quality and challenging experience. I appreciate that there's no diet-talk or body shaming here, and have always felt accepted at Bodylanguage. When the pandemic hit Monica and the team worked in overdrive to shift classes online to be available to members, while also maintaining a deep sensitivity to the challenges of the moment and financial hardships that some members may be facing. As always, they went above and beyond and I can't wait to be back in the studio!

I found this studio over ten years ago and have never strayed.  Because of BodyLanguage, I don't like going to workout... I LOVE IT! I have met so many friends and the atmosphere creates such an empowering vibe. Barre was my first love but i have since taken quite a liking to TRX and SPIN classes. I am constantly challenged with the workouts at BodyLanguage.. and they have honestly helped me to feel more confident and happy in my own skin...having spent a decade with this studio, I can confidently say I have never felt better about my over all mental and physical health!

I started classes at body language 1 1/2 yrs ago and my husband is amazed how much I have firmed up😀 going just twice a week. I live on Westside & travel across town to be with the most Amazing instructors and a great group of friends. I have joined Gyms  in the past and never looked forward to going to workout on machines & what machine & how many reps to do next.Now I look forward to weekends when I attend barre and spinfor a challenging work out.Every  Single instructor uplifts you welcomes you as family. LOVE this studio😍

Body language is a studio where you can get such an incredible work out even when you might think you are doing so little. In the Barre class I was laid out today most of the class but was still so sore the next day! Love the work outs and the instructors!

I’ve attended two classes so far and have had the best experience with this studio! I’m always hesitant to join a studio or group classes, as much of my experiences with studios/classes have felt awkward and unwelcoming. It’s difficult enough trying something you’ve never done before and feeling the most out of place (or shape) in the room, on top of feeling like you walked into a space that you are not welcomed into. Each encounter I’ve had with the instructors has been so very welcoming and encouraging. The members of this studio are also very welcoming, kind, and encouraging. In addition, these classes are very challenging and the three I’ve attended so far, have been worth every penny!
