Billings YMCA

My wife and I decided to check out the Billings YMCA to see what they had to offer. A staff member offered and gave a tour of the facility plus talked about all the different programs offered.  By the end of our tour, we knew this was the place for us to get and stay healthy.  So we signed up immediately.  Within a couple of days, another staff member reached out to us and asked if we had any questions and encouraged us to contact her.   We called her,  set up an appointment, and received a more detailed tour and description of the programs that would meet our needs based upon our specific individual goals we shared with her.  The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.  We're really excited to begin a new healthy adventure with the Billings YMCA!

I am a Physician's Associate/Assistant student rotating through Billings for 6 weeks.  I am living out of a camper and trying to live on a budget.  They waived the join fee saving me some $$$.  The facilities are excellent and make my life living in the camper much more comfortable.

I love my local YMCA! The staff are always so kind and the classes are amazing. The facilities are clean and renovated. I’ve been coming my whole life and I still love it!

Swapped bank cards right around the time they bill accounts. Didn't have an active card on the day payments go through and they tried to charge me extra to continue using their service.

Pure Pilates

Michelle is amazing!!! Just in the first session I felt so much relief! I’m excited to go back each time! The ambiance of the studio is one of calm yet I get a great core workout here- the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Pure Pilates!

Beautiful studio and  great teachers who know how to accommodate for each body’s abilities. A good workout from my 1st class to several years later.

EDGE Fitness & Strength

Edge is easily the best exercise program I’ve been apart of. It’s truly been an amazing experience. They were the most supportive group of trainers and members. Super knowledgeable. Not only are you working on making lifestyle changes and getting in shape, but you’re getting education on proper form, breathing, techniques etc and they meet you where you are so don’t I never felt intimidated. Starting w/the 30 day transformation class was really helpful and allowed me to be more confident when I transitioned to regular group classes the following month. I only stopped going because I moved out of state.

Best group of people to workout with! Great place to get fit-lifting, cardio, endurance, you name it! Awesome trainers that work with you every step of the way. Everyone is so kind and motivating! They really push you to do your best. Everyone compliments and encourages each other. They help you reach your goals. I love it!

This place is awesome! I just started the 30 day transformation and everyone is so encouraging! The gym is fun and down to earth. I recommend giving it a try whether you haven't been in awhile like me or you're super fit, they have something for everyone!

Best gym ever and I have done a lot of gym battles. The people there are just out of this world incredible. One employee specifically Shelby is one of the best people you can be around and knows exactly what she is talking about. I highly recommend taking in any advice she has to give.

Steepworld Climbing & Fitness

I enjoyed my time at Steepworld while visiting the area. It was a nice environment and the community was very welcoming. Olivia was helpful during my session, and I’m glad I got to stop in.

I climb 4 to 5 times a week. I absolutely love it here at Steepworld. I almost don't want to leave a 5 star review just so I'm not having to share with more people! The building is beautiful, the staff is awesome and helpful. There are two areas for bouldering, and two areas for top rope, a full gym, and yoga room. I simply can't get enough of climbing there. I've been climbing consistently now for several months, and not once have I had a bad experience. I would highly recommend climbing at Steepworld to anyone!

Purchased some gear for the latest expedition - by far the best place in Billings for climbing gear. The staff is very knowledgeable and experienced; they took the time to explain the ins-and-outs of some new-to-me gear and offered genuinely helpful advice.

Besides gear and expert advice, the indoor climbing is fantastic!

Definitely would recommend.

The new Steep World facility is amazing!  40 foot roped walls, a bouldering wall, and an upstairs area for beginners and training.  There's a yoga studio and a fitness area.  A wide open area in the middle means you can be running on the treadmill while watching your kids boulder.  Or you can relax on the crash pad chairs while you relax your pumped forearms.

It's definitely a fun and exciting place to get in shape.  The hours are awesome, there's no excuse not to go in and work out while scaling some sick routes.  To top it off the staff is incredibly friendly, willing to show you the ropes quite literally, and help with any gear purchases that you need.

Great place! Excellent opportunity to get fit having fun with your entire family, while improving your skill and knowledge in climbing. Good prices, positive atmosphere, extremely clean facility and helpful staff. You won’t regret it!

Burn Boot Camp Clarksville, TN

I joined BURN for the complementary childcare and I’m so happy that I did it. Everyone is super friendly, the workouts are fun, but also really challenging. My nine month old has never been in daycare before, but they do such a good job and they’re very patient with him. I love BURN and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a great community of encouraging individuals to surround yourself with. The trainers and staff are very excited to be there. Child watch is great - and the child watch staff are amazing! If you are looking for a new home gym, give Burn a try!

I love Burn Boot Camp. I’ve never stuck with a gym or worked out as consistently until i found Burn almost 4 years ago. Having Burn here in town is amazing! The members really make this place special.

Burn boot camp is very motivating and have the best trainers.

Great boot camp. They even have kids camps in weekends. The people are friendly and the workouts are amazing.

Fit 406

I have been attending Fit 406 Bootcamp since they opened their doors in 2019.  I attend class 5 days a week and absolutely love it!  They have a wonderful, clean, safe remodeled space for you to workout in, including new equipment.  I love the FIT3D machine that scans measurements, body fat percentage, and more that helps me track my progression.  Their trainers are knowledgable and friendly.  No two workouts are the same and although the class is filled with a mixture of people at every fitness level, I have witnessed trainers make clear, modified adjustments for everyone, including myself.  The workouts are fun, safe, and effective(especially for a 45 minute class), and nothing is repetitive and this is why I keep coming back. The owner truly cares about her clients and staff and that is just another amazing perk of Fit 406!  I love this gym and it's people!

I am so happy with the decision I made to join Fit 406 for a variety of reasons. The Owners April and Brenda are so welcoming and supportive along with the trainers, they care and want you to do this for yourself. There is a variety of workouts that push you to different levels. The facilities are clean and vibrant and they even have a shower. I love the added perk of the Fit 3D scanner to track my progress.

After a month I feel mentally and physically better and look forward to my continued improvement along with seeing the progress of my friends who joined me in being our best self!

FIT 406 is a great local gym focused on functional, high energy fitness classes. Their trainers really put you through the grind but also allow you to work at your own pace. Highly recommended if you are looking to get in great shape and have fun while doing it!

It's a normal, clean hall!!! I'm addressing you there, who answers my posts, I have no obligation to raise managers and servicemen in your hall, I have never written a false assessment in any hall, and when a customer tells you that it's like this here and correct it, don't tell me, you go and tell them. Assign it and you fix it!!!! I travel and want to go to every state every planet every gym and share my opinion with people so you do your thing I'll do mine🙏🙏🙏🙏

my car broke down and I decided to come for a workout while I was waiting for my tire to be fixed. The girl at the front desk said the men’s locker room is closed because they are renovating the gym. Said that the women’s locker room is not available to change it, but I can go to the Porta potty outside. I said “if your manager made this decision that was a bad decision. She replied “you can be mad at your own gender, because men are the one in charge of this project.“ That is poor customer service employmee. then she said that she was called sexist and I can see why.  This gym is not clean and should close until they get better a staff together, and if that employee at the front desk, tired of being called sexist then she should stop making remarks about  blaming men for the problems this establishment has.

I want to thank the two female staff members who work mornings at the tenth street location. They always greet me with great smiles and I feel so welcomed. They show a genuine interest in me, this means so much, a rare commodity in this day in age. They are excellent representatives for Planet Fitness Team. 🧑🏻‍🦳💕👍🏼

Small gym, lots of under 18 kids, lots of 'guests' who don't check in. Over crowded and forced to wait 20+ minutes while teens play on their phone for free wifi rather than work out on machines. I would not have wasted my money had I known the number of children who attended this gym. Workout should be less than an hour takes me almost 2 just due to wait. Not impressed. Old machines

Only  come here to take a break from working in the sun and charge my working devices in the black card area. I was on the massage chair resting my eyes and the same lady who signed me in asked me if I was a member. When I asked for a remote she said they did it have any so the tv is for decoration in this location. Terrible relaxation zone. No couch or tv or tables to work from.

VASA Fitness

Just started working out here.  It has pretty much everything you could want at a gym.  It is super packed on some  weeknights after work (Monday seems to be the busiest).  So, even though they have 6 squat racks and 4 deadlift stations, there was a line for squats.  There is also regularly a wait for chest press during the same times.  The gym is clean, the layout of the equipment is functional, and the staff has all been nice.

Gym is nice and has a good variety of things to do. Only a few complaints about the place.

It seems like there's always an issues with the weight machines and I'm not sure if its just from other people not treating the machines with respect or what but it seems like there's constantly machines not working.

I used to see team members cleaning the cardio machines but it seems to be lacking lately. I'll use machines that seem to be covered in I believe sweat from others and people don't do a great job of cleaning the whole machine if they do sweat all over it.

They also play music which I do not mind but they have been playing it so loud in recent weeks. I don't want to have to turn my own headphones up so loud just to be able to hear my own music. It annoying and irritating having the music so loud. Especially when you're trying to cool down and just relax a bit. You can't even hear yourself think because because of how loud it is.

I know some of things are out of their control but it would be nice to see a little change. It seems like staff doesn't care as much as they used to when they first opened in keeping the place clean and tidy.

This gym is great! A lot of machines and good equipment. If a machine is down, staff is pretty efficient on getting it back up and working by your next gym visit. The facilities are pretty clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only downside is you have to get used to looking for barbells or free weights, because unfortunately other people who go do not re-rack their weights. That’s out of the VASA’s control. Just wished that the people who went to the gym cared about other gym goers and the equipment.

I really love this gym but you can never use any of the weights people sit on them just on their phone and doing nothing. I have been here for over 1 hour and the same persons have been on the machines just sitting there.  Someone need to set time  limits or something. This is the very reason some people I know have cancelled their memberships because they never can use the machines.

College Station Fit Body Forever

I just enjoyed going to CSFBF. Katie is absolutely awesome including Emma and the rest of the coaches always giving that extra bit of confidence to each and every one of their clients and reassuring them they can do it. If your looking for a place to start College Station Fit Body Boot Camp or Fit Body Forever is it you won't regret it.

I love Fit Body Forever! The workouts are varied and challenging, but doable. The coaches are very supportive and can modify a workout to fit an individual's needs. I've only been a member for 2 months but I already see and feel a difference. I'm a Fit Body Forever fan!

I decided to go way out of my comfort zone and join College Station Fit Body Forever. I have not exercised in over 20 years and so out of shape.  I am so excited I joined. Coach Katie is fantastic and everyone is so encouraging. I’m feeling so much better and look forward to going.

I absolutely LOVE this program! Designed by coaches, Functional Aging Specialists, balance and core strength are incorporated into HIIT workouts for our older age group. There is no judgement, just encouragement! I began noticing changes in just a few weeks but now my chiropractor can see improvements in core strength!!

I HATE to exercise. I mean REALLY hate it. So I did not have high hopes when I started working out there. I can honestly say that I am enjoying it! The facilities are excellent, especially the cold A/C in this hot summer. The staff are enthusiastic but also very down to  Earth. My fellow class members are now my buddies and we support one another. Nobody puts pressure on you or makes you feel inadequate. Quite the opposite, in fact! No lie: I told a friend the other day that if I had to design a fitness program that would work for me, this would be it. I’m thrilled that I found it and I’m going to stick with it.

Just opened the day I went, everyone seemed helpful. I was supposed to get a call to set up an appointment but never got called.

My experience has been amazing and it has truly helped me with my torn meniscus. Love it!
