The style of the restaurant was fun but very small in the front. I discover a room in the back that had more tables but wasnt noticable when looking for a place to sit. They open @ 11 a.m. which is disappointing since biscuit is in the name & i expected breakfast but no. We knew we wanted a chicken biscuit with cheese to go, but it confused the cashier taking our order when we didnt want a menu. The options were limited on the menu i looked at to speed up the process & not real impressive, also a little more pricey than expected. The lady taking our order did not seem like she had very much knowledge of menu questions or the ordering process. Im not sure if she was new (like 1st day) or if it was time to go home since she was very eager to leave when done with us. To the food now... My order was for 2 chkn biscuits w/ cheese meals. Both meals opted for the seasoned fries & came with a drink. And i ordered just a single chkn biscuit w/ cheese (no side or drink). The menu has the meal priced at $9.99 and we was told that the one biscuit would be rang up as a meal minus $1.00. Doesnt sound quite right to me but whatever, im just trying to make it thru this first visit but so far i am far from impressed :( Alright i got my 16 oz cup for my fountain drink but there wasnt any options i wanted so i asked the lady if I could trade our two 16 oz cups in for one 32 oz cup for my husband. Why did i ask? She didnt understand & said i could upsize my drink for $1.00 more. No thank you, i already paid & wasn't starting a return & re-ring process. Ok so the cook came up front & asked what kind of cheese we wanted. Now the cheese selection was impressive. More than i could catch being named but heard at least 4 kinds. The wait for the food was not long and they did have peanuts for the customers like Colton's but don't throw them on the floor they don't allow that I'm sure. There was only one other customer inside when our food came out ready so i wasnt sure why this kitchen girl wasnt sure who to bring the food to but we are now successfully headed home to try our Winger's chicken biscuit w/ cheese & seasoned fries! The food was hot as it should be. The seasoned fries were awesome & still hot enough to burn my mouth which is always good for to go orders. I wasnt very impressed with the size of my biscuit sandwich for the price i paid. The biscuits looked like homemade drop biscuits my granny would always make. The biscuit itself wasnt moist & fluffy, or buttery. It was kind of dry & crumbly & required a drink with each bite. This biscuit would probably be better served as biscuit & gravy rather than sandwich style. There was some sort of honey sauce that came on the biscuit that my son said left a bad after-taste in his mouth. This 16 yr old boy will eat almost anything & was excited to get his food but almost decided against eating it before trying it but ate half of it & gave the rest to our big ole dog. So there's one thumb down. My husband wasnt eager to finish his but managed to choke it down with some milk but complained about the price the whole time since the cheese we ordered wasnt on his biscuit. Thumbs down #2. I personally enjoyed the seasoned fries. The biscuit alone was a letdown for size, flavor, & price. The chicken did have a very good flavor throughout the whole piece. It was a little overcooked which made it a little dry instead of juicy like i expected from a chiken store. Overall i was not impressed with my first experience at Winger's & its questionable whether or not I'll be back. I was sure i gave them plenty of time from opening day til my first visit to get the kinks worked out & perform flawlessly, but No, which is why im using as much detail as possible so hopefully changes will happen in the future. So i paid $33 for 3 chicken biscuits w/ cheese (but one was missing cheese), 2 sides of seasoned fries, & two 16 oz drinks & charged meal price for single biscuit sandwich. See photos...

food tasted very good. however, there were a few disappointing factors. the tenders were thin for the price. the “boneless wings” were just cut up tenders. one of our biscuits were forgotten as well as our dipping sauces (both times we’ve eaten here). also, the employees were eating while taking our order at the screen (dirty fingers… gross). i understand that this is a new establishment so i think there were some things that could be improved upon! i recommend the 5 tender combo.

The food was very fresh and tasty. Seemed like it was made from scratch. Only complaint is that they do not brew tea and that's a shame in the South.
