Wild West Pizzeria & Saloon

Every Bite Says Quality The gent at the Stage Coach Inn recommended this place to us. It was the last week of October; and there weren’t many restaurants still open in West Yellowstone. And are we glad Wild West Pizzeria was still open. My wife and I split a meatball sandwich and a personal sized pizza. The photo is my HALF of the meatball sandwich. What more can I say except what the title of this review says!? You can taste the quality of the ingredients in the first bite. I’m amazed that you can find food of this caliber in a little town like West Yellowstone. On their history page, Aaron says he set out to make the best pizza you’ve ever eaten. And he’s taking a pretty good shot at it. Since they have a saloon, they have a really good selection of beers. And the staff is really friendly and attentive. Definitely give this place a try!

Decent pizza and side salad. Sorry but I forgot to take photos of the food. We ordered 2 side salads and a medium pizza with sausage; It was good, not amazing. The side salads were adequate. Some greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and croutons. The pizza was better than what we had at Pete's a couple of nights ago. We were with friends who ordered a large pizza, and we noticed their crust was thinner. Do they use the same amount of dough for the medium and large pizzas? I don't know, but we prefer our crust to be thinner. If you are in West Yellowstone with a desire for pizza, I recommend Wild West over Pete's. The atmosphere is a little better at Pete's, but the pizza is definitely better at Wild West.

We were fortunate to enjoy our initial dinner at this restaurant while visiting Yellowstone. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced, and the service extended to us was truly exceptional. This dining experience added to the already delightful memories we were making throughout our Yellowstone journey.

Last night in town and we gave Wild West a try. Loved everything. I ordered the Wild West Supreme pizza and my friend ordered the Chicken Parm. He also had a cold smoke Scottish ale. I’m not typically a dark beer lover but it was delicious. Everything was delicious. Great service and fun place.

Meatball sub was yummy, lasagna was ok. It’s a popular place and they know it, so the focus is on moving you through quickly rather than making a great experience. Didn’t get their pizza this time but it is usually very good.
