Westrock Orthodontics

Knowing which orthodontist to use in our area was tricky for me. My husband (a dentist) recommended Westrock Orthodontics but of course being the stubborn wife that I am, I wanted to do my own research first to make sure we were making the best decision. I looked up reviews, I looked up the Doctors, the staff, I talked to friends, family, etc. Making the appointment was a breeze. I felt like the woman on the phone explained procedures nicely and answered any questions I might have. I liked that I also could make my appointment online but it was nice to speak with a real person. Our appointment was verified via text and email with a reminder to fill out necessary online paperwork. The forms were easy to understand and it only took about two minutes for me to complete. I arrived with my daughter before our appointment and approximately 15 min before opening time. We could see in the building and noticed that the staff was in a meeting. Watching the interaction between staff was reassurance that we were making the right decision to come to Westrock. I’ve been in office meetings before and I don’t remember ever seeing smiles as big as the ones on the personnel here. I could already see a positive dynamic and we hadn’t even walked in the building yet. When we walked in, we were greeted by a member of the staff. She promptly checked our temperatures and asked a few quick questions regarding our wellness (covid procedure). We were only seated a matter of minutes before Cheryl called us back to our consultation. She showed us a few of the areas of the facility and then began our consult. What I noticed and loved about this particular staff member was her ability to talk to me AND my daughter. Although Addie is only 10, I loved that Cheryl included her in the conversation and often asked if she had questions and made sure she understood procedures. The equipment they use to analyze patients and determine treatment was both impressive and further ensured that we picked the right place. They didn’t just do a pano exam, it was pano 3D so they were able to develop a more informative treatment plan. Dr. Schulte (Dr Mike) was both friendly and thorough as well. Addie seemed at ease with him even though she was nervous to have a Doctor other than her dad looking at her teeth. Dr. Mike explained any concerns and potential outcomes. As soon as Dr. Mike left the room, Addie said “I like him!”. The price is on point here. Perhaps it won’t be the cheapest option out there but skimping now will usually have consequences later on. I know many people who left their other orthodontist to transfer treatment to Westrock. Their children are needing “old” work (done by another orthodontist) redone by Dr. Mike. Westrock gets the job done correctly the first time. If you’re anything like me and had any doubts or questions on where to go, look no further. Westrock is the best there is. I’ll post updates on our progress and before/after pictures once treatment is complete.

Very friendly and well trained staff. They took the time to explain my options on my dental plan. I haven't decided between braces or invisilines yet, but they came highly recommended from family and friends.

Service was fantastic, Dentist was very respectful and explained everything to a tee.

We started with Westrock for my two daughters about two owners ago. It had great service, great environment and we have been using them for years and the service has declined terribly. I have been taking my daughters for years and before I could call if there was an issue with braces and get right in. Now you can't get in for over a month even with brackets coming off. This would have never happened in the past. If you are only going to have your office open a day or two a week, don't take on any new clients if you can't service the existing clients you have. I even showed up at 7:30am one morning to try to get a bracket put back on, only to be told I have to wait three weeks and they can't squeeze my daughter in. I have spend almost $15,000 with this company to not even get the appropriate customer service. Very disappointed and don't recommend anyone using this office.
