West Side Church of Christ

Very Luke warm church they say they do glad to have visitors and would like to get to know you but almost makes it seem like the visitor has to seek out to even be seen no one stops to visit with you after service they kind of divide off into their own cliches and they would never notice the visitor was there not my first time visiting it's my 3rd and it seems to be a constant thing that I've noticed even went as far as to stick around and still feel very unwelcome or noticed

Growing up in a military family, we moved a lot and have attended many congregations. West Side is the most solid congregation I have ever attended. The teachings are doctrinally sound and the eldership is unanimous with regards to what the bible says about issues today. The eldership is not afraid of what people think of them, they are only concerned with the souls of those who step through the door. Some may say that they were never approached and so they left West Side, but if you come and sit and leave and don't try to plug in, it's easy to get lost in the fray. This is a larger congregation and so it takes time and effort from both parties to get involved. Children's classes are offered for all ages as well as a good variety of adult classes. There is a strong college group and wonderful couples who lead them in their walk with God. This is a conservative assembly who can back up with scripture every decision made within its walls.

The good folks at West Side are exceptionally friendly. I have visited many times and have never had a bad experience. Steve Reeves is an exceptional preacher. His sermons are always well organized, interesting, clearly delivered, and above all, Bible-based and Christ-centered. Most impressive is the fact that he always does his homework when preparing his sermons: I invariably leave the West Side worship having learned something new about God's Word.

West Side Church of Christ is a very friendly, Bible-focused congregation. The a capella singing is beautiful! Bible classes are offered for all ages with a variety of options for adults. I highly recommend this church to anyone looking to strengthen their walk with God.

The people at Westside Church or Christ are just amazing. There are lots of friendly people to help you find your classes, and there is a very wide variety of classes for all ages!
