I went through the drive through last night at around eight pm and I got this dry af chicken that you can literally see the chicken splitting from the breading. When I bit into it, it literally tasted like cardboard. No amount of mayonnaise was gonna fix it. When I get up to the second window to get my food, the first thing I hear is this blonde boy with glasses say to his coworker, "since they're rude to me, I'll just give them extra ice." And the coworker just laughed as he hands me my food and drinks. Didn't say a hello or thank you or nothing. I will not he back at this location.

I've had mixed experiences at this Wendy's location. On the positive side, I've often received excellent service and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food preparation. The meals were well-assembled, contrasting with the sloppy presentation I've encountered at a few other Wendy's locations. However, it's worth noting that the service can be inconsistent. While I've mostly had good experiences, there have been occasions when the service was just average, though this is less common. In comparison, the Wendy's off San Miguel and Academy has consistently fallen short in terms of service quality. If you're looking for a reliable Wendy's experience, this is one of the better locations to visit

Now I see why this place has three stars! Not only was the cashier taking money in the drive-through rude she also laughed in my face when I told him my food was made wrong. And then when I asked them to remake it the correct way that it was ordered the manager gets to my window and says that’s the way it should come. I didn’t even feel like arguing with her but I did tell her I would like my burger the way it was ordered and then she says okay we will we make it…. And comes back literally 10 seconds later with the SAME burger!!! And I looked at her and said are you sure this was remade? I think I understand drive-through supposed to be fat but you didn’t even take 30 seconds to make this burger and she’s like I’m sure I had my cook remake it and I said well it doesn’t look like it was remade and on top of that it wasn’t even hot it was room temperature so she tried to sit there and lie to me that this burger was remade but she couldn’t even tell me what was on it! So the burger went opened from me, back to the cashier who was also handling money, to the manager and then back to me in the pick up window! Honestly go eat somewhere else or avoid Wendy’s in general!!

Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 3:00pm. Palmer Park and Powers. I ordered with the Wendy's app for the first time and went in the drive thru line realizing I accidently clicked dine in with no option to correct it. I asked at the speaker if they would please give me the order "to go" in the drive thru. They said no. I asked again and got the same result I said I wanted to talk to the manager assuming that would be a simple fix. I pulled forward only to wait almost 10 min. Before I got to the window. I asked for the manager and she refused to hand me my food which was directly behind her. I lost my cool at this point and after some pouting by her and language by me. Btw, this has happened to me and many others for that matter before at other places like McDonald's, Starbucks, etc. and they were very kind. This manager of this store is a disgrace. She acted like a trainee. She was rude from the beginning immediately setting me off by asking why I couldn't go inside which I told her it was none of her business. I could obviously go in but was working and was in a slight hurry. I drive for a living, delivering auto parts. Unfortunately, I was so upset I didn't even get a name from the pitiful excuse for a manager. That is why I was specific on the time. They must of been desperate when they hired her. I doubt if she was the store manager but she said she was. She is huge! That's one very large woman with her arms crossed, not that it matters just wanted to give a description, lol. You can't miss her! She has no idea what customer service means. So, I refused to leave and blocked the window and told her to call the cops. She didn't of course and I eventually pulled forward since she refused to do her job (less than 3 minutes later) because I realized I was being as idiotic as her and went inside to get my food. I will never go there again and will be filing a complaint with corporate, but with no name it probably won't matter. Just so you know, I ordered one item, a baked potato. When I went in, she had bagged it, surprisingly but not surprisingly with no napkins and no fork which I found out in my car, but I had a fork with me, lol. She simply refused to do her job in every way possible. I've never been treated so poorly by a manager of an establishment in my 55 years. The food was okay. I'd bet anything she didn't cook it.

Multiple times I’ve been told that I’m getting a discount or deal from the app at the drive-thru, and then when I get to the window they say I can’t actually get it. Today on Veterans Day I showed up at 10:20 and was told by an employee that we would be the last car to get breakfast, because there was a line of cars in front of us. I finally made it to the drive-thru at 10:43 and was told that we wouldn’t get breakfast and the other employee misinformed us. And again, something similar has happened on 3 other occasions; with no other compensation or sympathy offered
