Visiting Angels

I have the best caregiver, Brittany Porter, whom has made my life much better as she makes it her mission to find out my needs and she considers how my needs and efforts affect my family and she fills in the gaps with a pure heart. Also she is like so efficient, multi-spatial, like a ninja that can leap over obstacles she can leap into all circumstances and be a help to me and it helps my family too. Brittany adjusts to my energy, sometimes she knows just what I need before I do, and I'm not afraid to ask her for help in any way. From basic necessities to her going above and beyond and she aims for things to work so when she leaves life is better!! The small and big pictures, her laughs, her giving nature, her personality shines along with her heart. As we all wish for a helping hand I hope to have her for a very long time. Thank you Visiting Angels for Brittany!!

I am wanting to share my sincere appreciation and gratitude for my mom's Visiting Angels caregiver. She has been with my mom since September 8, 2023. During the past 8 weeks/2month time period since she has started care giving with my mom, she has helped my mom with so many things. She makes sure my mom eats very good meals each day, as well as, makes sure my mom stays hydrated with fluids throughout her visits. They take walks together, read and discuss articles/events happening in the world via the Star Tribune newspaper, enjoy wonderful conversation and just being together. The caregiver is very helpful to me, too, as she will inform me of what groceries, items my mom may need replenished weekly. She also helps my mom with various tasks around the house, if/when needed. The caregiver informs me if anything is out of sorts with my mom while visiting and also sends me a very detailed caretaker notes report each and everyday, after her shift ends. This is so helpful for me to know how the afternoons go for the two of them and to read what my mom ate/drank throughout the time the caregiver is with her. If ever I have anything I would like the caregiver to do for my mom or me, while there, she is always willing and does so. She goes out of her way to make sure things with my mom run smoothly and that she is well taken care of each and every day. The caregiver is also very flexible if I need/“ask her if her schedule can change at times. My mom feels very comfortable with her caregiver, as do I. I couldn’t have asked for a more loving, caring, compassionate caregiver and am so thankful the caregiver was placed with my mom. Thank you to Lindsy for making a great placement and to Visiting Angels for the wonderful help that they provide families. I want to especially thank her caregiver for the care, time, love and compassion she provides my mom, and me, as well, each day she is present. Thank you!

Visiting Angels have been such a positive experience for my Mom the past couple of years! All Mom's caregivers have been wonderful, but we'd like to recognize Alvivian Pearson specifically. She has been with Mom the longest and is always pleasant, reliable, helpful, and takes care of everything that needs doing. We just love her! Appreciate her kindness and communication always!

The whole experience was a positive from start to end! Intake discussion with Lindsy was informative and transparent (no surprises regarding logistics, responsibilities and billing). In-home care with Brittany was a joy. She is a great listener, friendly, attentive, and has a kind heart. We will miss her.

I would love to share our thoughts and gratitude to all for our wonderful caregiver Ivy Anderson from Visiting Angels. She’s been with us over a year now and is truly a blessing to my mother. My mother is in the later stages of Alzheimer’s dementia and can’t perform any tasks for herself so Ivy’s presence is always welcome.She is always here on time and ready for whatever the day brings, as soon as she says good morning mom greets her with a smile which warms everyone’s hearts. Thank you Ivy for all your hard work and dedication.🙏
