Visiting Angels

Visiting Angels was absolutely outstanding. Of all of the places I had called to seek information on care for my senior father, Visiting Angels was exceptional in their responsiveness, thoroughness, thoughtfulness -- it was as if I were contacting my father's own adult child caregiver -- that's how thorough and caring they were. Heads and shoulders above the rest. I actually talked to a human being who didn't drop the ball. It was exactly what I needed at a very stressful time, as many of you caregivers know what I'm talking about. Also, they offered to work with our long-term care insurance to obtain as much coverage as possible to cover the cost of their services. It would be a win-win situation -- how smart of them and good for us! We didn't happen to end up using their services because my father decided not to move to my geographic area, but I was so impressed that I wanted to leave this review. You will be in good hands.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Caregivers agreed to hrs. then tried to change start time @ the 1st shift! Asked if they could study while working. Showed up 45 minutes late, no call. AND, had the nerve to fall asleep on my couch mid sentence in front of me! Took personal calls for up to 30 minutes instead of caring for the client.I only had them for a few weeks before they were fired and they did all this! I shudder to think what they do when family isn't around. Every day it's a different caregiver & you don't know who they are until 2 days before they show up. Terrible business model. Avoid at all cost.

The office staff and home care staff were both great to work with. The home care staff were very competent and attentive. They listened to and communicated well with other family members. They kept the house tidy. If they had any health questions or concerns, they spoke to the supervising nurse, who addressed these concerns right away. My MIL needs to go to a memory care facility now, but I would definitely recommend Visiting Angels for home care!

Visiting Angels was easy to set up care for my mother. A phone call, a visit by their registered nurse and an interview with my mom and we were ready to use the service. Any changes to the schedule were done by phone, which made it very easy for us. We rarely had any service interruptions and the care givers were very easy to work with in providing the care needed for my mother. I would highly recommend them as an option for in home care.

I have enjoyed working with the clients hear with Visiting Angel's all so the staff is very nice I Love them like family.
